The nine tail colors represent the nine Mighty Pups. Starting from the red tail covered by the dangling foot, clockwise rotation: Marshall, Zuma, Rubble, Tracker*, Rocky, Liberty, Everest, Chase, Skye.

*Tracker was never a Mighty Pup in the series. However, he's part of the Super Paws True Metal toyline, and he controls vines.

So I was rambling to some friends yesterday about how I really dislike Sparks' (that one dragon from Paw Patrol's 'Rescue Knights' subseries) design, right?

Like he's cute and all, fits the kids show aspect of things as well as Spinmaster's toy marketing. But it utterly irked me how his wing webbing technically isn't correct, the yellow underbelly seems a bit too bright, and his horns and brows being this random dark purple color that doesn't really fit with everything else. So, what was the outcome of this rambling, you might ask? Me, on a whim, taking it upon myself to redesign Sparks!

I was originally going to keep his primary red color until I received some input on the palette I was working with and switched it up to this orange that I was pretty happy with! I wanted to pick some sort of yellow to pay homage to his name, Sparks, but I went with the alternative and gave him some bolt-ish markings instead. Fixed his wing webbing too because.. Yeah. The only thing I really kept were his green eyes, albeit altered so they didn't look.. Swampy?? I guess?? Just overall, I'm happy with how this turned out, and I hope other people are as well! Alt ver. without wing

I made these as a way to compile all the geographical vocabulary that I thought was useful and interesting for writers. Some descriptors share categories, and some are simplified, but for the most part everything is in its proper place. Not all the words are as useable as others, and some might take tricky wording to pull off, but I hope these prove useful to all you writers out there!

I'm thinking that this goober might've been cast out from his herd at about seven months due to his size and abnormal colors (lack of pigment due to leucism), which led to him getting snatched up by animal traffickers not long after. He was rescued, of course, but it still left him with enough trauma to make him distrusting/ scared of humans (and, unfortunately, other members of his species from little proper socialization)

Poor dude has like.. No fight response, only flight. If another male sickle-horn were to challenge him he'd probably plop down on the ground or run away. He's smaller than the average male sickle-horn (just over 6 feet / 1.8 metres) and his horns aren't as big nor durable as they should be. He isn't sickly, he was just on the unlucky side of the gene pool
