I Have Already Written A 1k Intro Scene For A Ronance Fic I'm Writing 😭

Might be a hot take, but I don't like Nancy and Robin bonding and falling in love because of shared trauma. I don't like Nancy falling for Robin because Jonathan hasn't been there when she shot Vecna or when the vines got her, but Robin was. I don't like Robin falling for Nancy because she's the only one who understands her experiences with the upside down, or vice versa.

I like them hanging out and finding out each other's quirks and slowly falling for each other, realizing that the feelings they're feeling isn't friendship. I want them both ranting to Steve about one another. I want Nancy to look at Robin and realize how weird she is, and that's why she loves her. I want Robin to think Nancy's straight, I want Nancy to think she's straight too and for her feelings to be confusing. I want them dancing in the rain. I want them getting drunk with Steve and Eddie, and being the only ones left awake, talking about shared interests. I want them to show each other their respective music and movie tastes. I want them to, despite the upside down, have a normal romance.

Because, after a rewatch, has Nancy truly been in love with anyone outside of the bonds she's made through traumatic events?

I've been trying to make an intro for this account for a month now and at this point I'm giving up. Here's a rundown of what you'll see on this account in the most bare bones way.

I analyse media that I consume, this blog will most likely have some of my thoughts and critiques of said media. You're free to disagree with me in my inbox and I most likely will reply to have a discussion. Said discussion will be civil on both ends, no Ad hominem.

I finally (!!!) finished the scene outlines for my criminal minds fic! All in all, it has 39 scenes (I know)! Meeting up with one of my friends and possible betas (have to ask him first) to see what can and can't be cut out.

Which means tomorrow is the first day of writing the actual fic! I hope and pray this will be ready in time, I have a plan on when I want to post it, but it all depends on me, which means it'll be a toss up.

Amur Maple spends their days keeping tabs on the local flora, especially the trees! They track growth, health, and budding patterns, and *will* talk your ear off about it if given the chance!

Rumours of it being haunted, some say it's a portal to another dimension. Dr. Brenner, a past paranormal investigator, now scientist, decides to conduct an experiment. He decides to rent the house for the summer, declaring it open to only a select few, who he believes, are the candidates for this experiment, because of their experiences with paranormal events.

“Be curious about what you’re writing about” is not stock Common Writing Advice but it really, really should be. There are a lot of written works that fail due to the authors just being obviously incurious about what they are writing about.
