I wanted to redesign the Tulpar crew’s uniforms to be a little more sci-fi ~esque (guess the inspiration). I actually prefer the original design for the story being told so this is pretty much just self indulgent. Process under cut:

Was Brother Bear an inspiration for Salmon Road? They're both about siblings relationship with a huge age gap (and bears, of course). And also that's one of my favourite movies :)

However, I will say that studying concept art from Brother Bear was a key part of developing how I wanted to draw my characters! So the artistic influence is there. These are images I used back in 2018 to teach myself how to draw bears:

I learned a lot about stylizing animals from Aaron Blaise.

He is known primarily as a cartoonist and animator but what influences me the most are his wildlife paintings:

In my AU, Cedric in our world works for the fictional organization GUARDIANS, which hunts and studies creatures that come from the portal, and also makes sure that no citizens get hurt, not to mention that she guards and searches in every possible way new portals so that people do not go into them and get lost in other worlds.

Intelligent beings are very rare, so Phobos and Miranda are worth their weight in gold in all respects, but so far they, being from another world, do not have any rights. What can I say, our things have more rights than theirs! Therefore, they need careful supervision, and no matter how well they are settled on Earth, they cannot calmly move around the streets without supervision. X)

Cedric is not up to them, even though he tries his best to spend more time with them (mainly to study and extract more information about their worlds), so he safely floated them to Raythor's apartment.

Mouthwashing and 60 parsecs crossover Both have a central object, so I decided to switch them :D I think soup is a bit more usable than mouthwash tho...
