I don't have the space for bookshelves so I have two three-drawered bins: one bin contains hardcovers, the other holds softcovers. The drawers are separated by function: the top drawers are to be read, the middle are the rereads and reference books, and the bottom drawers are art books and other fun stuff like that.

This is very important research so I can figure out how to arrange my books

so I was playing skyrim anniversary edition tonight and I went to the college of winterhold to speak with enthir for a quest. Now just yesterday I'd freed Skritch and had him following me along with teldryn (don't ask me why teldryn's wearing the scaled horn armor, I'd handed him it to carry and now he won't take it off even when I've passed him better sets lol). After I go back down to the lower level of the hall of attainment I hear something. Enthir's saying dialog that sounds a lot like trespass dialog. I check my stats, that hasn't changed. All of a sudden I see enthir running down the stairs after me still saying the lines. He stops and I follow what he's looking at, he's not looking at me, he's looking down. He's looking at Skritch the skeever.

I'm looking at a poll that currently says people mostly read physical books (60%) followed by handheld devices, then e-readers, then audiobooks. Since I think this would be really useful data for independent writers to have...

OK so I'm not the biggest fan of the Black Widow ending. Why? To me it felt like they were just doing Captain America vs Winter Soldier all over again. Doesn't matter to me that it was women instead of men this time with Black Widow vs Taskmaster. It felt like I'd seen it before so I didn't feel invested in it. I was much more invested in them freeing the Black Widows that the Red Room still had. I'm probably going to get flak for this opinion but that just my opinion. Might delete this later if it gets to be too much idk.

So like, am I the only one who's sick of MHA fanfictions that have Hawks eating chicken and everyone's just like "omg why's he eating chicken??? He's a bird?!?!"? Like idk about you but the explanation is right there in his hero name. Hawks. Hawk. You ever seen a hawk's dietary habits? They frequently eat other birds. I have pictures of one sitting on a bush in the backyard terrorizing the sparrows in it by hunting them. I just saw one chasing after what appeared to be a crow. So yeah. That's why I'm annoyed with that. I have very specific thoughts about quirks and their effects on their owners but I'll post that in a different post.

Slight Mentioned Spoilers for MHA/BNHA

Ok so like I'd love to find a MHA/BNHA fanfic where the AFO is Izuku's dad thing is true but Izuku still wants to be a hero. Why? Because he either a)doesn't know or b)has seen what it's like and wants to help both civilians and those who became villains due to circumstances they couldn't control/believed they had no choice but to become a villain (think about it, Shinso could've easily just felt "oh, you think my quirk's villainous and I can only become a villain? Ok then I'll become the best villain I can possibly be". Plus while I'm not completely caught up with the manga but I do know who Dabi is and personally I believe that him becoming a villain wasn't entirely out of revenge, I personally feel that part of it was because he's legally considered dead and so it's not like he could get many legal jobs like that plus with who his father is it's likely he felt no one would believe him about his past unless he became a villain, the exact opposite of what everyone would expect a child of his father to be. The rest of his reasoning is a mix of mental instability, a desire for revenge, and Stain's philosophies). Think about it, Izuku wants to be a hero to help people and save them. We've seen him save people from themselves already. If he could see what drove people to become villains, I feel he'd try to stop those who were already villains and try to get them the help they need while doing his best to save people from situations that he knew led to others becoming villains. That's why I'd really like to see more fanfics with All for One being Izuku's dad but Izuku still aims to be a hero.

So like is it weird that I really want hugs and cuddles, but like, only from certain people? Like I'm not talking about people I know vs complete strangers but like I don't want them from my grandparents but my mom, my friends? Y E S. Like no one I want hugs and cuddles from are around often and well I think my friends would be kinda weirded out so I resort to stuffed animals and pillows for cuddles and hugs.

As someone who has Asperger's and generally is very nervous around strangers due to anxiety, I go into a flat, low-expression, no-nonsense mode to try to minimize my anxiety or at the very least mask it while I work and I feel this post so much. I have had strangers tell me this and, while I don't mind loosening up a bit around the regular customers that don't make me feel uncomfortable, this sort of thing just makes me so...idk how to explain it tbh.

Ok so I've been thinking a bit after reading way too much MHA/BNHA fanfic. So in a number of stories I've read featuring the Todoroki's pre-UA for Shouto, they've had Endeavor having tutors for the Todoroki children. While thinking, I realized, that picture of Touya on the shrine, it shows him in a middle school uniform. Which likely means that the children who were 'failures' to Endeavor, at most, were put into a private school if not a public school. Shouto, on the other hand was considered a masterpiece by Endeavour and he planned for Shouto to go to UA which we know has a notoriously low acceptance rate (of all the first years we know that there were only four recommendation students in the two heroics classes out of all the recommended kids however a fifth who was accepted turned their spot down) so it was likely that he did pay for tutors to teach Shouto at their home. After all, Endeavour likely didn't plan on sending any of his so-called 'failures' to UA so why pay for tutors for them? Sure he had the money to do it (let's face it, tutors are expensive) but as I mentioned earlier, they were considered 'failures' so why would he pay more than he had to for their education? That's not to say that Endeavour didn't impose harsh rules on them for how they should behave (come home as soon as school ends or something like that) but why risk more chances of what really went on in their home getting out more than he had to by getting tutors for anyone other than Shouto? Imo while he had a lot of power and money, I doubt that the Hero Commission would be willing to be covering up for him continuously if many of the tutors decided to act the concerned citizen if they suspected what was happening and he fired them.

I don't know if any of that's been said before, but it just popped into my head. Feel free to ignore me if this has been said before.

Book: Nyankees volume 5 TV show: not sure... Pitbulls and Parolees maybe? Might watch the original Yugioh series to see if it strikes any nostalgia in me, used to collect Yugioh cards as a kid so... Movie: MHA: Two Heroes Games/puzzles/crafts: Jump Force and Skyrim for games, an MHA puzzle, and sewing a pony pouch for one of my model horses.

Will humanity ever be free of the influence of Edna Mode? Can any of us so much as consider the character design for a hero or villain without her manifesting in the room, fully aware of our sins?

So uhh maybe you all can help me out here. A while back I read a Naruto fanfiction that I really enjoyed. Turns out I forgot to bookmark it or do anything to be able to go back to it. If any of you can help me find it again I'd be grateful. Here's what i remember. Naruto was Hashirama reborn, Sasuke was Madara reborn, if it sounds similar to others here's where it differed, Sakura was Izuna reborn and Kakashi was Tobirama reborn. It started around the Wave arc in the original Naruto and when I read it the last chapter uploaded was in the middle of the chunnin exam arc and they'd caught Orochimaru. Naruto fully remembered his past life first then Sasuke then Sakura then, finally, Kakashi. They kept this information secret until they had to reveal it to the 3rd Hokage. The story itself was on fanfiction.net and I found it under the K-T rating filter. That's what I can remember. Hopefully someone can help me out in my search. Thank you!

So like idk if I was the only one who was terrified when I was younger and still in elementary school learning of plate tectonics because like sublimation and all that because I was terrified that just all of the continents would disappear because they would be sublimated but I finally found out how not to be terrified of that. I'm now taking astronomy in college and it's explaining how the geology of the Earth works in relation to what happens in the general solar system. So turns out differentiation in the Earth's layers is a thing and the continents are of a lower density than the seafloor plates so the continents will always stay on top. I had that fear in the back of my mind for years until now and all that could've been avoided had teachers just said that it's lower density than the seafloor so the continents just won't up and...y'know...disappear...
