I’m American. I live right in the southwest and let me tell you, it’s hell over here right now, but it will become a lot worse if Article 13 is passed.
You’ve probably heard about Article 13, and if you haven’t, go watch this video right now. Whatever you’re doing can wait for sixteen minutes and two seconds, because a second-long vote could destroy everything online.
Whether you’re from Europe or not, this law could affect you, so you should care Article 13 because it is going to destroy the online lives that you have built. No more posting memes, no more remixes, and no more YouTubers from anywhere.

How to Basic.
All of your favorite content creators are at risk of losing their jobs because people want stricter laws on copyright, which will support the larger media companies but kill smaller creators. And because of this, we may lose everything online.
So spread the word! Reblog this, reblog other people’s posts, find petitions, write your own posts! If you’re in Europe, contact your MEP’s and get them to understand how it will affect the people who use the internet.
Please.

White allies do better....
Stop with the "oh well I'm white and i agree" or the "I'm white and I'm sorry for us" on posts about racism
Stop with the lengthy apologizes when you do something small like write the above on posts and someone calls you out on it
Stop asking me for my opinon on what this famous black person did
Stop asking me for my opinion on if a thing is racist or not
Stop asking me to explain basic racist shit to you
Stop telling black people about the time you called your racist uncle out on his racism or the protests you went to
Stop asking for my opinion on things you did that you're scared is racist/has racist undertones
Stop with the white guilt... It ain't helpin nobody
Stop asking one black person for their opinion on something about race... You gotta ask more black people if you want an accurate representation of something because not all of us are the same/think the same thing
Stop treating black people like we're "professors" on racism
Google is free. Can y'all please start treating black people like actual people and not someone to teach you about racism. It's exhausting
We need your help.
I guess I will be taken to prison by Chinese government one day, because of this art I drew, or the things I said.
I am from Hong Kong. As you may not know, this is a special administration region of China. We (still) have our own legal system, and freedom of speech, that’s why I can access to everywhere in the internet without censorship (I get ask a lot). Recently, over a million of people are protesting against the Extradition Law. It was an extremely-almost-impossible fight and many students are injured horribly by the police force. I WAS THERE.
If the extradition law is passed, which means that China can “took” anyone from Hong Kong back to China as “prisoners”. Oh you don’t wanna know what China will do to those innocent people …
The government is forcing the law on us. We couldn’t do this on our own. We need more attention from other countries. Please spread this message out.

This could save lives so I thought I’d share!
Hey fellow @prideknights. It’s time for our first mission. Who is with me?
For people who need a reminder
You will get better. You may be like “gosh, I really can’t draw people, dogs, whatever” right now, but someday you WILL be able to.
Less than a year ago, our dog drawings looked like this. They were fun, whimsical, but GOSH the anatomy and expressions of the dogs weren’t good at all!
Now look at us. This is less than a year later and honestly, this was all just from continuing to draw dogs.
🌟 Use references: The things that often deters artists from doing this is that, at first, your drawings look NOTHING like the reference. This is okay! Even if you absolutely hate the finished drawing–you’ve learned valuable skills. Draw five more times from reference and you’ll start to notice that you’re picking up on skills you never had before.
🌟 Celebrate your accomplishments: The hardest part of art is staying motivated even when your art isn’t up to your preferences. So, celebrate what does look good! Noticed a bit of improvement in one area? Literally write on the back of the drawing “I just improved with (whatever it was)!” As silly as it sounds, this makes a difference.
If you’d like, feel free to post two pictures below–one from a few years ago and one recently. Mention how you feel you’ve improved!
(This is totally okay–even encouraged–to reblog, too. There are a lot of artists out there and we could all use some motivation.)
