I am Mohammed Alanqer married from Enas Majed we have 3 children
Amidst the ongoing war in Gaza, we find ourselves as a family trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, a father of three children and a husband to a woman in her eighth month of pregnancy, live in an environment filled with threats and risks.
My technology startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed during this war, leading to the loss of our livelihood. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, no longer have the opportunity for education due to the destruction of schools, posing a significant threat to their future.

Our family home was destroyed due to the war, forcing us to flee and move multiple times, leaving us homeless. Everything has become difficult now; we cannot provide a safe place to live, nor can we afford clean clothes and food for our children. Additionally, our children have been afflicted with diseases such as measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.
-" layan & sara & adam in the war" -
Our only hope now is to escape from this ongoing hell and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs, with the coordination fee for crossing borders amounting to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.
- "My home before the war "-
We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure the safety of our family
Thank you for your attention and support, and we hope you can help us in these difficult circumstances.

It's gonna be such a funny mess when Donald Trump dies of a stroke on April 1st, 2024.
Naturally everybody will think it's fake because of the date only to lose their minds (both positively and negatively based on their opinion of trump) when realizing it's real
There will be massive celebrations in the streets and on social media and lots of predictable "don't speak ill of the dead" discourse about those celebrations
Weird evangelicals will pull some weird number trick talking about how Jesus was conceived on April 1st and that makes Trump a sort of messiah and people will make fun of that
The Republicans (after they're done with the faux-sadness and faux-outrage) will stomp over each other to be his successor but none of them will succeed. They'll tear each other apart and have no single nominee for the November elections.
There will be discourse about if Biden and the living former presidents should go to his funeral (they won't, he was a traitor insurrectionist)
The Ukraine-Russia War immediately goes in favor of Ukraine as morale in the Kremlin is reduced. China similarly backs off from its threats on Taiwan.
Ten thousand new memes are made, some sticking around for years to come.
Not a month later a bunch of unofficial biographies of Trump hit the bookshelves, many with new details about just how awful he was.
To the world:๐จ๐
In Gaza, life is being snuffed out under the feet of innocent civilians. Children, women, and the elderly are being slaughtered in cold blood. These massacres are not just numbers to be recorded in history books; they are a stain on the conscience of humanity.
Where is the global conscience? Where is justice? Where are the human rights that are being violated every single day in broad daylight? The Palestinian people are being massacred before the eyes of the world, while governments and international institutions stand by, issuing statements of condemnation that do nothing to stop the bloodshed.
The cries of the people of Gaza call out to the entire world: Where is your humanity? When will you act to stop this aggression? This is a moment of truth; either we stand with justice and what is right, or we remain silent and become complicit in this crime.
We will not forget, and we will not forgive the world for its silence. Gaza is resisting not only for its survival but for the dignity of all humanity.
To the world,
I appeal to you for help in saving my family from Gaza. Right now, my family is not just a statisticโthey are real people who deserve to live, to breathe, and to be safe. The situation in Gaza is dire, and every day that passes brings new fears for their safety.
Please, I beg you to understand that they are not just numbers on a news report. They are my loved ones, who have dreams, hopes, and the right to a future. I am asking for your support in helping them escape the horror they are currently living in.
They deserve to live. Please help me save my family.

I've been real busy lately because it's December and I work at the post office, so of course I am
But that doesn't mean I can't show up with an unprompted PSA
Hey! Have you ever mailed a letter to Santa Claus? Have you ever wondered what exactly happened to that letter? Well wonder no longer! If it had a stamp and a return address, then odds are that it ended up on the USPS's Operation Santa page!
Every year, the USPS collects letters to Santa Claus, and processes them to black out any identifying information. Last names, addresses, things like that. Then, the letters are posted on the Operation Santa webpage and people can adopt the letters.
Once you adopt a letter, you can buy gifts for them, wrap them up, and package them. Then you get a barcode from the website, and bring them to a post office. The clerk there will scan the barcode, which prints out a label with the address on it, and sends out the gift.
It's anonymous on both ends, and is generally just. A really nice thing to do.
I highly recommend it if you have some money to spare this year and want to give a kid a moment of magic this year
It's one of those things that the post office just happened to be positioned to do, and ended up knocking it out of the park. Unfortunately, I don't think they advertise this nearly well enough, and most letters end up going unanswered
Hopefully, a few more will be answered this year
At least 280 Israeli teenagers have announced their forthcoming refusal to join the Israel Defense Forces by signing a letter that condemns โthe regime of occupation and Jewish supremacy.โ
