Whump Tropes: Against the Wall.

Whumper slowly moving up to Whumpee, eyes burning, as Whumper scrambles backward. The moment of panic when their back hits a wall.

Whumper gripping Whumpee by the collar and slamming them against the wall.

Whumpee pinned, front pressed against the wall, one arm twisted behind their back, the other splayed against the wall for balance.

Whumpee with both hands flat on the wall, using it for support as a whip cracks down on their bare skin, leaving welts and cuts.

Whumpee stumbling forward, one hand on the wall to keep them from falling as theirs legs shake and buckle.

Drywall cracking against their back as Whumper shoves them against the wall.

Whumpee, exhausted and bleeding, sitting against the wall. That moment when they squeeze their eyes shut and let their head fall back against it while they clutch their wound.

Whumpee’s skull cracking against a brick wall. Bonus points if they feel a warm trickle of blood down their neck a few moments later.

Whumpee clumsily sprinting down a pitch black hallway, constantly running into walls. Breaths echoing as they desperately search for an exit before Whumper notices they’re gone.

Whumpee literally glued to the wall (by hair, one hand, their back, etc) and left there knowing the only way to get down is to rip their on skin off / hair out. How long do they wait before biting the bullet so they can sleep? So they can eat?

Whumpee’s legs buckling under them. Trying to get as small as they can by sliding down the wall as Whumper advances. Trying to melt into it an disappear as their breaths become more and more frantic.

Whumpee chained to the wall with manacles set in the stone. Not budging an inch.

Claustrophobic Whumpee desperately pressing themselves into the walls as the room seems to get smaller and smaller, suffocating and crushing them.

Whumpee completely trapped, the wall on one side, Whumper’s body pressed close against theirs on the other. No space to breathe. Every inch of skin smothered.

Whumpee pinned to the wall by a hand on their throat.

Whumpee rhythmically hitting their forehead against the wall, desperately trying to manage their pain.

When a Whumpee is hit HARD. They stumble back, legs barely able to keep up, until they crack against the wall and crumple to the ground.

Whumpee sitting with their ear pressed to the wall, trying to hear what Whumper is doing in the other room. Knowing what will happen if they get caught.

Sensory Deprivation

Only the restraints and cold air breaking the silence. Painful when they shouldn’t be because it’s so enhanced by the nothingness.

Hearing ringing in their ears or their own heartbeat, even little things like breath or swallowing driving them insane.

“..is anyone there..? c-can anyone hear me…?”

When Whumpee’s been limp for so long that no one can tell if they’re awake or sleeping.

The blindfold and/or headphones aching, burning even, against their skin they’ve been there so long.

Hands falling numb, and pins and needles in their feet or legs from lack of movement and circulation.

Whumpee no longer able to remember what position they’re restrained in. Nothing makes sense. Are their arms up or down? Which way was the door again?

Ultra-sensitive hearing. When Whumper taps on their headphones or earplugs, it’s so loud it’s like lightning cracking through their skull.

That lovely moment when the blindfold finally comes away and Whumpee covers their eyes back up, crinkling against the sky because it’s so bright.

Whumpee only gets Whumper’s touch. That’s it. Whether it comforts or hurts them, they’re grateful for it.

And of course, that moment when a whip slashes across them, and they gasp a scream at the sudden invasion of their nothingness, almost overwhelmed by the shock of something so intense after the muted empty.

Sensory Overload

Hot and cold at the same time. Alternating so quickly the body can’t even tell which is which.

Not just loud music - a variety. All kinds of ever changing sound and volume.

Are the lights getting darker or is it just me? No…no they’re g- …no they seem lighter now….i swear they were more orange a second ag- no no they’re definitely changing-

Multiple types of pain at once. Stab, then superheat the blade. Then twist.

Hurt Whumpee while suffocating them. They’re so desperate for air that they don’t care about the pain as much, yet the pain sends them into a frenzy which makes the suffocation work which makes then thrash which makes them hurt more wh-

Forcing Whumpee to solve random puzzles, answer questions, do math, etc while in a stress position. Pain mixed with the balance mixed with the brain games. Keep them overloaded in every area you can. They’ll get exhausted all that much faster.

“Ss-s-stop- ple-ease jus-just make it st-st–..jus for a minute-please-”

Shock collar that keeps Whumpee awake. Zap every time they dip below 80 bpm or so.

That being said, low-level electricity around the clock?? It’s pain but they can allllllmost block it out. Almost. Sometimes.

whumper’s arms wrapped tight and possessive around whumpee’s injured form—too strong to be fought off, or perhaps whumpee is just too weak by this point.

whumper digging their nails into fresh cuts, getting a whine and hiss in response—but they stop struggling, and whumper leans in close to their ear with a growling murmer— “mmn. good boy.”

maybe whumpee gets their hands bound in front of them this time, so they can fit in closer against whumper. and its more comfortable too— “shh, let yourself enjoy this.”

whumper cuddling with their hand around whumpee’s throat, not squeezing or anything, just… resting there.

knowing that if they tried to pull away, that hand would tighten instantly and squeeze until whumpee was dizzy and writhing back against them

and size difference… their throat, so small and soft and delicate under whumper’s rough fingertips

the way whumper’s hands would fit around their waist— the way they could press in under their ribs until whumpee is choking and their chest is spasming

whumpee shivering when they feel low whispers in their ear. just… so sticky and possessive

whumpee waking up with sore aching muscles from being kept in the same uncomfortable position all night. they sleepily try and flex their muscles and move around—then they’re hit fully awake with a jolt of cold panic when they realize where they are—and that they still can’t move at all.

waking up with whumper’s arms still tightly wrapped around them and trying desperately to squirm away, before they feel whumper’s hold tighten around them and hear a sleepy possessive growl in their ear, “mnn… no. you stay.”

just… any of the ‘tied up and kept like that’ tropes melt my fucjfen brain

Forceful caretakers & defiant whumpees

A prompt from my hidden injuries post got me thinking about this dynamic ✨ (using FC for forceful caretaker)

Content: Forceful/bad caretaker, forced medical treatment, defiant whumpee, restraints, gags, caretaker turned whumper, manhandling, forced stripping (nonsexual), humiliation my beloved

A whumpee for whom mysterious injuries are a chronic problem—a regular occurrence—they keep dodging their friends questions, they start hiding their injuries, albeit poorly sometimes, until one day they come in so incredibly injured, with blood seeping through their clothes and dark bruises on their skin, poorly hidden beneath a layer of concealer that does little to mask the deep patches of dark purple and red.  

Eventually, FC is fed up. They’re all just trying to help and whumpee doesn’t even appreciate it. They keep brushing them off. How insulting. How ungrateful. 

One day FC finally snaps and they shove whumpee back against the wall, making them wince and gasp sharply with the pain of the movement.

FC pins them there with a vice grip around their throat— “Oh, you’re fine, are you? Then what the hell was that, hm?”” 

“N-nothing I—“ FC jabs a finger into the side of their ribcage, and whumpee hisses in pain, their eyes squeeze shut tightly— they’re shaking between wincing, panted breaths. 

They can’t hide their reactions any better than they can hide the limp in their step, the way they wince and grab their side when they think no ones looking. But now FC has proved it in front of the whole group, and whumpee is not getting away that easily. 

Another forced exposure: Whumpee wincing at something one too many times— maybe someone just lightly bumps into them— and their pained reaction has FC grabbing their wrist and hauling them off like—“Thats it I knew it, I fucking knew it. WHAT have I told you. Get in the car NOW.” 

And whumpee is pulling back against their grip, “I’m sorry im sorry! Just please don’t—“ — “Shut. Up. Now get in. We’re going to the fucking hospital.”
