I absolutely loved Pinkie Pie when I was younger (also got called Pinkie Pie by friends for a bit but that’s a different story) and I’d love to hear your hc’s about her (and honestly the rest of them if you want)

Most of my hcs surround her being ND tbh (tho I'm a pegasus!pinkie truther lmao)

I also feel like pinkie kinda also has some issues w mood regulation, like we see in the show kinda. When she gets upset she often takes it really hard and has issues when trying to ask and clarify things so the sadness kind of festers, yknow? She likes being the funny one, but when she's upset its hard to talk because she feels like nopony would want to hear her actually be sad.

On a more upbeat note, I like to think that pinkie actually models for rarity a lot n LOVES to see rarity's designs because pinkie is also just into creativity in general obviously! So the two of them bond over it!

Pinkie probably likes horror movies, not like a "I'm scary. I like scary things." Way, They just give her an adrenaline rush like a roller-coaster!!

Pinkie probably has tasted a Lot of different foods, I think that could go w the mini hc of mine that maybe she lived short term in a few other places than ponyville before settling there, so she got to try a bunch of different types of dishes from different kinds of ponies and maybe even other creatures!

I believe I've said something like this before but I don't think pinkie directly labels herself, not bc she doesn't care, just bc it's doesn't come to mind for her really, tho she's probably pan, she's just one of those ponies others are like "hmm..... I Think she likes girls but also that's just pinkie so who tf knows" (mainly with rainbow bc those 2 are almost always hanging)

She knows a lot of random little facts you wouldn't expect, and she probably has hyperfocused on random types of unicorn magic in the past n checked out books to read on them even if she isn't a unicorn.

Pinkie has Totally dyed her hair, just bc I think it would be funny for images of her when younger to have her w blonde hair then blue hair then even black hair, but she's probably calmed down on it by the time the show comes around. (Rainbow dash and Rarity actually probably both helped her dye it probably)

That's not too many but I just wanted to at least get One out because I felt bad for suddenly dissapearing again like I normally do, lol

Random Rant thingy

Never understand people who just... go into mlp grimdark spaces just to shit on mlp grimdark. Like I understand if the story itself isn't good or has shitty elements in it so you respectfully criticize those elements, or if it isn't tagged properly or put into the wrong category on purpose, but a good handful of people just don't seem to want to use the tags there are to mute that content?

I personally like both sides of the Fandom, sure I like grimdark more, but I understand that not everybody does and that's EXTREMELY understandable due to what the grimdark inherently is as a genre!

But I feel if you don't like something that is NOT on the creator of the content, especially if they aren't actively harassing or harming anyone. (Unless it's like, illegal, obv.) You should just block the mlp horror and mlp grimdark tags and move on. Why do people who hate things seem to just interact with it anyways? I'd rather actually interact with what I do like instead, it feels like unnecessary stress. Fandoms are supposed to be fun, so why are you interacting with something that obviously gives you mental stress?

This isn't targeted to anyone directly, I've just seen this type of thing happen on and off for years now, not even only in the mlp Fandom. I just wonder what causes it for the most part.

Any advice for starting an ask blog? I'm considering making one for my mlp g4 rewrite. :)

Idk man, this is my first one n I'm kinda just fucking around, but i suppose dht email 3 things I'd suggest are

1. Have fun with it, take breaks if you can't handle it or even if you just aren't in the mood. You as a person are far more important than a silly pony blog ever will be.

2. Have a bit more solid planning than I did, I do have a bit of a plan unfortunately I'm just indecisive and trying to struggle between 2 plans rn, I'd suggest having at least a bit of a plot idea in some shape or form if your blog has a story you want to happen throughout it

3. Practice drawing ponies, I need to do that more often bc I took a break since I was forgetting how to do humans and I draw other Fandom stuff for me and my bf solely, but I'm hopefully planning on getting back to it soon and maybe I'll end up posting some practice sheets. I mainly want to practice just so I can do different perspectives, lol.

Bonus:

Maybe watch old YouTube ask blog content! I get a decent amount of my inspiration from classic pony blogs (specifically on the grimdark side of things), even if those blogs weren't the pinnacle of writing or art, the main thing is that you can enjoy them and have fun with them, that should be at the core of any ask blog I think, it being something to enjoy for the creators and followers!
