I just finished Call Down the Hawk and the last thing I expected out of it was to relate to Declan Lynch. It's the amount of times that man mentions taking Tums because he gets nauseous from his anxiety that got me. He's just like me fr. (I'm also an older sibling so it's bad)
Had an amazing time at the dungeons and daddies live show last night! Dressed as Elizabeth Mothman! This cosplay took me 4 days to put together in a frantic rush hopefully I'll take it to a con soon!
you'll never get a second chance plan all your moves in advance stay dead, stay dead, stay dead stay dead and out of this world

Camilla is ace. Palamedes is a straight twink. Dulcinea has enough milf sexual prowess to fuel their threesomes just by herself.
saw nosferatu and had to hit the gangsey (ft declan) w the victorian beam
caitlyn: *takes off her top*
vi: 😯
come home...
I love how these books are just a bunch of lesbians running around being gay and then there's Palamedes but I give him a past because he's in a codependent relationship with a lesbian which basically makes him a lesbian.
Hi. Sorry for randomly making a more serious post, but I just found out about this and I really want to get it off my chest.
I just found out that Taika Waititi was one of the celebrities who signed the letter in support of Israel. And I just feel sick. I know you shouldn't idolize celebrities, and I don't. I liked Taika Waititi, sure, but I didn't idolize him. Normally when stuff like this comes out about celebrities I like, I just stop supporting them and go on with my day. I think the only reason this is hitting me hard is because Our Flag Means Death is literally one of my favorite shows of all time. And he plays one of the main characters and produces it. He plays a major role in this show I love, and he supports fucking genocide.
I think it also sucks that I found out about this just now, an hour or so after watching the finale. I'm just disgusted and disappointed.
And I don't really see anyone else talking about it? I only found out about this because one Tumblr post mentioned it, and I went digging to make sure it was true. Sure, the finale wasn't good. But I think this is more important to discuss than a mediocre finale.
To my knowledge, so far he's the only one who works on the show that supports Israel. I don't know if other crew members do.
Do I think Taika Waititi can change? Yeah. But I can't support him or his projects right now, not when he's actively supporting genocide. If he changes his views, maybe I can continue supporting him. But not now.
For now, I think I'm just gonna detach myself from OFMD. I love this show. Practically nothing will stop me from loving this show. But I think detaching from the show and its fan content is the best course of action for me.
Anyway, fuck colonialism. Fuck Israel. Free Palestine. 🇵🇸
Speaking of fandom racism and misogyny (and this is a bit of a hot take) while I love and adore the fanon depiction of Dan and Matt as black, it does also make me uncomfortable sometimes. This fandom constantly lambasts Dan as too aggressive and angry and unfair towards their soft sweet perfect Andrew, and then decided this was the woman they wanted to make black, essentially depicting her as the stereotypical Angry Black Woman (just like Thea) from a broken family and sex work, a lot of the time. And when she's not, she's the Sassy Black Captain. The same with Matt often being nothing more than Neil's Cool Black Best Friend in fandom depiction. It's not everyone all the time, and in a series like AFTG there's going to be some unfortunate negatives no matter what race you hc someone as, but when that's what fandom reduces them too, it's got some unsettling undertones sometimes.
I definitely agree with you on the point of people will reduce down Matt and Dan to the “black best friend” and “angry black woman” stereotypes. It’s real uncomfortable.
This is true. Also I've never met a history major who wasn't autistic. (I'm an autistic history major)
see people describe neil as autism coded a lot, but i don't see people talk about how relatable kevin day is as an autistic guy. like i could write an essay
