Guys just imagine being a side character, you're walking around normally on a beautiful sunny day, you hear rumours from the other campers about this newbie kid that killed the minotaur barehanded, later on you hear about this very kid beating Clarisse, the biggo bully and now you're kinda intrigued.
Nonetheless next day you're playing capture the flag as normal and suddenly find yourself just kneeling before that kid that turned to be one of the big three kids then you proceed with your day.
Next morning, weirdo kid just straight up leads a quest, like the boy just got here and he's already making himself a reputation while some old ones are still not even claimed. Anyways the kid is accompanied by that tiny counselor of the Athena cabin (you know, that one kinda creepy child that stalks newbies around but you can't object because you don't want problems with the camp's best swordsman, yeah that's kid) and you're kinda shocked because those athenians are all about blah blah blah Athena did and blah blah blah we hate Poseidon.
Also that young satyr goes along, and you think oh weird then you continue with your day.
Fast forward a week later, they return, they are all friends now?? That fucking child just met Zeus?? He freaking whipped Ares' ass??? He got Hades' favor and got his mom back??? papa titan is back too??? Wait what LUKE IS EVIL NOW WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK???
And fast forward a year later, the Athena child just planted a kiss on the Poseidon kid's cheek and now you're invested in this reality show and you ship these kids together.

My random thoughts abt Percy Jackson as someone who only watched the show and knows bits and pieces according to bestie's info dumping
(spoilers??????)
• Percy is chronically confused and he never stops being confused about everything when he gets older and I love him for that
• I'm already aware that Luke is going to end up being horrible in some way to Percy because of the reaction of the whole fandom to non-book readers liking Luke so much and all i know he will do something malicious out of jealousy? As I understand hed been ignored by gods for a long time while Percy got claimed in couple days. NO idea what possibly will he do
• I'm team Grover, he can do nothing wrong and I know for a fact he will be Percy's friend throughout everything even if he wont always be in the centre of action, I also hope hes more than just a sideckick or protector for demigods and has his own stuff to do
• Annabeth is a badass with a baggage and it seems like shes not always appreciated enough
• Traumatized as fuck kids😢
• Apparently Poseidon is not that bad even though i expected him to be a complete piece of shit
• Who IS a piece of shit is apparently Athena?
• Apparently Percy is extremely powerful but he never fully gives into this potential to protect his friends(?) or to not be dangerous (?) Hes just real kind and loyal
• Sally Jackson will at some point find her a better man (i think?)
• Something tells me Percabeth will be less of a slowburn in the show compared to the books, just bcus??
• I saw that fanart or older Percy and Annabeth and they got white streaks in the hair? Bestie told me its plot related and refused to tell me why and I legit thought its gray hairs from stress😭 maybe some kind of sacrifice that affects their physical body i honestly have no idea
• There gonna be a bunch of other kids that will be friends and or have a completely separate story and theyre all trios???? There are at least two different trios
• Theres Nico whos a kid of Hades who doesnt get a break from weird ppl cus hes gay and hes also apparently very sad guy and later on he meets his future bf Will Solace whos a healer and Apollos kid and hes a sunshine? At least looks like one but i font know anything about his personality

• When Percy finds out that Nico used to have a crush on him hes as always, chronically confused (tm)
fr the show titles are giving it a bit but they seem kinda random without Percy actually saying that stuff as much

I'm re-reading the lighting thief and as I read I remembered that Ares helped Luke in starting the Second Titan vs God War. It was never revealed if Ares was punished or not, which to me makes it seem like Ares was never punished which is weird to me because Apollo in Heroes of Olympus, at the bare bones, did the same thing as Ares and he pretty much got exiled from Olympus, leading into Trials of Apollo. Dionysus' got punished for getting with one of Zeus' favorite nymphs. In Greek mythology and just judging by the personalities Rick wrote for the Olympians, Ares is far from Zeus' favorite child and it seems like, to me at least, that Zeus would find any reason to punish Ares. So why, at least by the information I found, wasn't Ares punished for helping Luke starting the Second Titan vs God War?

episode 6 is the lotus hotel episode. and its rumoured to be the musical episode. WHICH MEANS it's going to be a masterpiece or horrible, probably no in between.

I will be distraught if we don’t get to see that.

A Percy Jackson who is the child of water in its most natural state, and who can hardly bear to see the way society has attempted to contain it and sterilize it and strip away its power

That's the point! Luke WAS right! Luke has valid reasons to hate the gods!!! He just went about it the wrong way, but Luke was absolutely 100% right, even percy knew that in the end
having medusa draw parallels between herself and annabeth was such a crazy choice because ? here annabeth is now, being punished for something a son of poseidon did… exactly as medusa told the story a few hours ago…

You know when you have an idea, like a sparkle and you literally have to stop in the middle of the room to process what the hell was that. Alluka has always been odd to me.
She was weird in my eyes because I couldn’t comprehend how “normal” she sounded and acted when she got released from her so-called room after all these years.
Like yeah no zoldyck is actually sane in the head no matter who it is but it still made me wonder how long has Alluka been locked up. Cuz it’s been more than just five years, it must’ve been a whole decade.
We may not exactly know when she got locked up but we can still estimate the answer.
And to do that, we’ll need Killua’s and Alluka’s age when Nanika first made herself present since Killua is a year older than Alluka.
It was explicitly said that Killua was forced at the age of six to battle in the martial arts tournament at the Heavens Arena. Once he would reach the 200th floor, he’d be allowed to go back home. He returned after two years which would make him 8 at that time.
We know that he couldn’t have been eight years old when Alluka got put in isolation because the flashback with Mitsuba (Nanika’s first victim) had Killua looking way too young to be 8.
Meaning that all the events that transpired due to Nanika’s victims and their bloodshed must’ve happened when Killua was exactly 6 years old, making Alluka 5 years old at the time.
We can also conclude that the year this all took place in was in 1994 thanks to the manga’s timeline.
So now that we know Alluka got locked up at the age of 5, let’s also see how long she has been in isolation for.
Alluka was born in 1989, got confined at 5 years old in 1994 and got released by Killua in 2000.
So to conclude, Alluka has been imprisoned in the estate for 6 years and finally left Kukuroo Mountain after 11 years.
