hii so i might just be stupid LOL but i downloaded your sheep dog ears cc for werewolves thinking the bangs were merged in with them, but for the LIFE of me i cant seem to find them in game? do you know where u have them placed to show up or something like that?
Hi! No worries, they aren't included with the file, they're actually some accessory bangs by Atashi77- I can't recall which exactly, but if you go to her blog & search bangs you should be able to find em ^^
Researchers have discovered a new species of rove beetle that grows a termite puppet on its back to fool real termites into feeding it. The replica is so precise, it even mirrors the termites’ distinct body segments and has three pairs of pseudo-appendages that resemble antennae and legs.
The new beetle species (Austrospirachtha carrijoi)—found beneath the soil in Australia’s Northern Territory—emulates a termite by enlarging its abdomen, a phenomenon known as physogastry. Evolution has reshaped this body part into a highly realistic replica of a termite (as seen above), head and all, which rides on top of the rest of the beetle’s body. The beetle’s real, much smaller head peeks out from beneath its termite disguise, the authors report this month in the journal Zootaxa. The termite “puppet” may help the beetle evade detection—though termites are blind, they sense one another through touch.
Because A. carrijoi’s mouth parts are tiny, the authors think it begs food from its hosts rather than eating eggs or larvae. Worker termites feed other castes digested food in a process called trophallaxis. This adaptation has obvious advantages to the beetle. Once it is inside the nest, it can relax and spend the rest of its life living off of termite room service.

one of my favorite things about using inaturalist is how it’s gotten me familiar with even the common, less “impressive” species. especially since spring is rolling around and I’m spending more time outside.
Like, before where I’d just say, “oh look, a butterfly!” now I can say “oh look, a mourning cloak!”
Instead of “a squirrel” it’s “a fox squirrel.” Instead of “a snail” it’s a “garden snail.” Instead of “a rabbit” it’s “a desert cottontail.” Instead of “a ladybug” it’s “an asian lady beetle, which is invasive.” Instead of “a lizard” it’s “a bluebelly, but they’re really called western fence lizards.”
It’s harder to take the little guys for granted when you know their names, y’know?

I think one of my favourite jumping spiders is Opisthoncus necator just because its common name is just “The Murderer” for some reason, so if I ever go to look at it on iNat, I am greeted with this very accusatory title and what is essentially its mug shot

Hi I really love your were-kitty snouts, I know you said the nose overlay was personal but I was wondering how you made it/ if you would release it? Thank you for your time!
The overlays were too annoying to deal with for me haha, but I actually made an edit to the preset a while back that solves the issue! It's not perfect but it's a much more catlike shape, and it will work with modded nose colors. I've added the new file to the folder & the old one's still there if anyone needs it for some reason. https://www.simfileshare.net/download/4964215/
after 2 years working outdoors all day i finally got stung by an onion for the first time yesterday and i wasnt even doing anything there wasnt even a nest nearby

This is based off a ramble I made about Spruce being a spruce budworm. Even though I reblogged underneath that post with the artwork above, I wanted to make a seperate post so that people don't have to go through a literal wall of text of me being an undiagnosed ND over my idea-
Although... it would be nice if you... uuuuuh- could check it out for yourself cuz I think I really cooked in that post.
hi im curious how u got the bangs to match the fur in the werewolf presets and sliders post
the accessory bangs i used have no texture and instead take the texture from where the hair would be on a sim, so the werewolf paint menu will let you color em! i just tried to match the look best i could with the fur stamps
im on ARTFIGHT with FRESH new cog ocs watch your backs

Someone's on a RAMPAGE! 🐝 Meet Rampage, the yellowjacket wasp!✨We are SO excited to reveal this fursuit, he was a huge undertaking and we are so proud of how he turned out.💖 See more of him with @Twilight_Saint ! 🌟 Model's smaller than client so excuse the fit/flop/no neck.
He's got super unique shapes and padding, large minky wings with an armature, huge tail, hands with finger escapes, antennae, and an inflatable tail!
You can see how he came to life by checking out the WIPs on our Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/PoeProductions
While we are very proud of what we were able to accomplish in terms of bringing this suit to life, none of it would have been possible without the INCREDIBLE design work by the client. @Twilight_Saint is a true artist (and a bit of a visionary tbh!)
