Faerie etiquette and whatnot is so very important! One of the reasons I got into faerie witchcraft is because weird stuff was happening when my dad began clearing out this one really wild part of our yard, and I found out that there were angry faeries! Angry faeries are not fun.
Research is the most important thing to do before heading into Faery work and witchcraft. You want to have a lot of in depth and versatile knowledge covering many areas of the topic so you’ll be able to understand and interact with the Fair Folk! If you don’t want to work with the Fair Folk you can use this list to help yourself understand them and take the proper measure if you ever stumble upon them. I know the list could go on forever but I’m compiling the topics I find build a good foundation of understanding. I have compiled this list to give those interested guidance and a push in the right direction, it is best you do your own research before asking other’s personal knowledge and opinions!!

It’s going pretty well for me so far! I rarely have time for complex spells, but they help when I do. If you want to know what kind of far are around, you could just ask. They won’t be offended by that.
Also- they will probably hide your stuff. Ask for it back nicely and they’ll give it back.
I’m always happy to answer any questions you have!
The “Are you an angel?” scene from the Phantom Menace- but Silmarilion!
Melkor does not get a lot of compliments in his plainclothes- especially not from someone the human equivalent of 12!
i think what’s on a person’s nightstand is very telling so reblog this and put in the tags the things you have on your nightstand
In the original tale, the prince held two more balls after Cindy over there ran away the first time, and after the third ball, the prince decided, “You know what? Just throw some pitch on the steps! She’ll get stuck!” And she got her shoe stuck, so she pulled it off and kept running.
Since Cinderella lost one slipper, they didn’t actually fit her perfectly to begin with.
Clout chasing keeps ruining communities. The witchcraft community is no different.
You shouldn’t feel like you have to post readings every single day, pump out “content” to be posted every hour on the hour, craft sigils until your hands are cramped, and record vlogs about your deity experience in order to have a place in the community and be “relevant.”
Your altars and candles don’t have to be “insta-worthy” in order to be potent tools of magic.
You don’t need to spent thousands of dollars on the most trendy crystals to cast spells.
This is a spirituality, not a runway.
Just do you.
Hi, and welcome back to a new witchcraft post! I saw you guys really liked my post on spell disposal, and I wanted to make a post on some fabulous ingredients that are
Eco friendly ~
So here is part 1! The obvious one, herbs!
I think we are all in agreement that herbs are literally the most common of all spell ingredients, but you’d be shocked at how much people pay for a jar of dried herbs (or at least how much my mum pays at the grocery store)!
My family actually decided to start growing our own herbs, like thyme, lavender, sage, basil, oregano, rosemary, etc. Of course, my family being Christian, they used them for cooking.
But no matter what you do, cook or spell, an herb’s at its most potent when dried!
So how do you get from fresh herbs to dried?
Cut your herbs! Cut with plenty of stem, and don’t take too much, only what you will need for now. Make sure you thank that plant for its help, and give it a drink!
Take a bit of string and wrap one end around the base of your stems, so the herbs hang upside down.
Tie the other end to a hanger or a window hook, or a curtain rod. I hang mine in mostly darkness, my mum does it in mostly light. I recommend the mostly darkness method; my mum’s always turn out funky. I tie my bundles to a hanger in my closet and let them do their thing.
Wait 1-2 weeks, or until mostly crunchy to the touch. Not crispy, but crunchy.
Now you’re done! ✨✨
Have a magical day!✨✨
I find that working one at a time is best, if you’re kinda busy, and tbh, runes are pretty easy to learn. Once you get the hang of runes, move on to tarot; it’s like paper runes!
Hope it was
Helpful ✨
So i feel like runes are calling my name and i want to learn about them... but im also still learning tarot and i have a long way to go.
Fellow witches, any advice? Should i study both at the same time or is it best if i learn tarot first and then runes? Whats your experience?
Thanks in advance, blessed be ♥
