Friendly reminder that direwolves were very very real in case anyone thinks Neil or George made them up:

Sorry if this has been asked before, but was Lucifer's "I am a dire wolf?" a reference to GOT because of Gwendoline Christie?
Not unless the Dire Wolves in GOT were George’s reference to Sandman. That’s from the original (1989) comic.
Why does Varys giggle a lot
The in-universe reason: to appear non-threatening.
The George R. R. Martin reason: villains have quirky laughs.
And it adds extra salt to the Morningstar's wounds to make what they do in "Season of Mists" be that much more vengeful and petty no doubt. 😂
Hi Neil! I’m wondering why Morpheus battles Lucifer instead of Choronzon in the show!!
PS I’m absolutely in love with the show so far
PPS😍 thanks for being the best story creator ever ☺️
Because we wanted to keep Gwendoline front and centre.
This makes me happy in ways I can't articulate, you did wonderfully. If you have the time and energy for it, I implore you, please don't stop
“Hey, wanna go to the mall today?”
a personal challenge to see how many characters/references I could fit into one picture, could definitely still do more!
There is so much going on that I don't know what to comment on first...
Here. A bunch of cursed images and memes redrawn as dp characters
Todd Ingram -vs- The League or Ex-traordianry Gentlemen.
I love how Wallace ended up being Todd’s gay awakening and then they DIDN’T end up together in the end
Instead Wallace led him on by failing to communicate that their fling was temporary and now Todd has an unhealthy obsession with Wallace and it’s so so so funny (and so tragic)
Next thing you know Wallace’s new boyfriend is gonna have to fight Todd’s new league of Wallace’s evil exes
New destination on the All American Road trip
Alright was no one going to tell me that in the middle of the Nevada desert is an old cemetery that contains the bodies of a bunch of miners who died in a fire and next door is a haunted clown motel
Why are we still setting horror movies in generic Victorian houses in the woods when this is a real place in the world
What are you talking about? These are high art
I could make serious fanart
Or I could make some of the stupidest shit anyone has ever seen
A quick look at the comics confirms that the $800 stipend was indeed the original number, and maybe that would have been a large, if not decent amount in the 80s, its chump change in this capitalist hellscape we have in the New 20s
My only real complaint with S1 so far (I haven't finished the season yet) is that Jed's foster father's motive is the $800 a month.
That's not even enough to live on. I seriously doubt Cape Kennedy's cost of living is so low that this stipend is worth it. (Especially if you look at the standard of living the foster parents have. I mean, the phone's probably as old as they are.)
This is the most unrealistic motive I've ever heard of.
If you're going to make greed a character's motive, at least make it enough money to be worthwhile.
Patton seems to agree ^^
"The trannies should be able to piss in whatever toilet they want and change their bodies however they want. Why is it my business if some chick has a dick or a guy has a pie? I'm not a trannie or a fag so I don't care, just give 'em the medicine they need."
"This is an LGBT safe space. Of COURSE I fully support individuals who identify as transgender and their right to self-determination! I just think that transitioning is a very serious choice and should be heavily regulated. And there could be a lot of harm in exposing cis children to such topics, so we should be really careful about when it is appropriate to mention trans issues or have too much trans visibility."
One of the above statements is Problematic and the other is slightly annoying. If we disagree on which is which then working together for a better future is going to get really fucking difficult.
You'll never take me alive!!
