I can't believe how long it's been and 159 days until Venom: Let there be Carnage!
This is the most hilarious Harry Potter AU I've ever seen! 🤣😂😆
Harry Potter AU in which Fred and George are in different houses and they steal and wear each others ties whilst doing stupid things in hope of the others house losing points
The Mandalorian and Digimon Cyber Sleuth. Aaaand, NOW I'm wondering what Digimon best suits our favorite space dad!
I ask all my fellow BIONICLE fans to start waves on LEGO's social media pages for them to do something to commemorate the occasion, like rerelease some of their most beloved sets like they did for LEGO Star Wars' 20th Anniversary. Remind them that the original BIONICLE helped save them from bankruptcy and if they don't do anything it would be a huge disservice to the line and the fans that enjoyed BIONICLE all those years ago.
This is the most amazing thing I've ever heard about ever
In the early 1990s, Brazilian photo-journalist Sebastião Ribeiro Salgado was stationed in Rwanda to cover the horrific accounts of Rwanda genocide. The on-ground experience left him traumatised. In 1994, he was returning to his home in Minas Gerais, Brazil, with a heavy heart, hoping to find solace in the lap of a lush green forest, where he had grown up.
But, instead, he found dusty, barren land for miles and miles, in place of the forest. In only a few years, his beautiful hometown underwent rampant deforestation, leaving it fallow and devoid of all the wildlife. For him, everything was destroyed. “The land was as sick as I was. Only about 0.5% of the land was covered in trees,’ he shared in an interview with The Guardian. Salgado was shattered.
Saldago’s Wife Wanted to Recreate The Forest
It was at this time that Salgado’s wife Lélia made a near-impossible proposal. She expressed her wish to replant the entire forest. Salgado supported her idea, and together the couple set out on a heroic mission. Brazil Photographer Forest
Salgado bought an abandoned cattle ranch from his parents and started building a network of enthusiastic volunteers and partners who would fund and sustain their mammoth project. In 1998, the couple founded Instituto Terra – the organisation which tirelessly worked to bring a forest back to life.
PNHR Bulcão Farm | by Weverson Rocio – 2012
Salgado sowed the first seed in December 1999. The couple hired around 24 workers in the beginning and was later joined by numerous volunteers over the years. They worked day and night – from uprooting the invasive weeds to planting new seedlings. Soon, their hard work bore fruit as tropical trees native to the region started flourishing in the area. They received a donation of over one lakh saplings which gave rise to a dense forest. The handcrafted forest comprises mostly of local arboreal and shrub varieties. Latest satellite imagery revealed how a soothing green forest cover has enveloped the area which once was a devastating arid eyesore.Since 1998, they have planted more than 2 million saplings of 293 species of trees and rejuvenated 1,502 acres of tropical forest. The biodiversity-rich zone has recently been declared as a Private Natural Heritage Reserve (PNHR).
The Impact of Salgado’s Forest
The afforestation project, which is undoubtedly one of the greatest environmental initiatives in the world, has also helped to control soil erosion and revived the natural springs in the area. Eight water springs which once dried up, flow at around 20 litres per minute at present, relieving the drought-prone region of its woes. Salgado’s forest also happens to solve the much-debated notion about climate change, proving that the trend can be reversed if tried. His forest has resulted in causing more rainfall to the area and cooler weather, bringing a drastic and desirable change in the climate.
Instituto Terra’s Fauna | by Leonardo Merçon – 2012
The most important positive aspect of the forest till now has to be the return of the lost fauna. More than 172 species of birds, 33 species of mammals, 15 species of amphibians and reptiles have been spotted in the forest interiors, something which was beyond imagination two decades ago. Many of the plant and animal species in his forest actually feature on the endangered list.
Efforts For Good
Climate change is a harsh reality. Mankind is bearing the brunt of the relentless destruction they inflicted on the planet. Yet, people like Salgado and Lélia fill us with hope, proving that patience and persistence can be our keys to heal the wounds of nature. If two people can create a 1502-acre forest in just 20 years, then imagine how much can be done if everyone comes together to protect the environment. It must be reminded that for every tree we plant, we are adding 118 kgs of oxygen to the air every year, and reducing the carbon footprint by 22 kgs.
Efforts For Good urges all the readers to actively engage in planting trees and gradually turn this into a fixed habit.

Everyone, acknowledge and delete these texts if you get them! Spread the word around so no one gets kidnapped, seriously!
Also, if you ever get a suspicious or even just a text with a link from a number you don't know, delete it immediately, especially if they know your name but you don't know THEM.
God, this is honestly terrifying
there is a new sex trafficking method of sending women these texts (and these aren’t other people’s screenshots, these are texts that were sent to ME):
if you receive this kind of text, block the number immediately and do NOT click on the link. it leads to websites that give you the ability to “track your package,” when in reality, it is YOUR location being tracked.
i myself almost fell for this and i luckily called my apartment’s leasing office to check if i had any packages i never picked up and they said no.
spread this please because i’ve seen a LOT of others say they’ve received these kinds of texts, so there’s likely to be more who are unaware it’s a scam.
if you ever get a message like this:
DO NOT OPEN!!! it’s a virus and it’s fake!!! be careful please 💗
repost this so more people can see it!!
Everyone sign this! Stonehenge is an important and recognizable part of history that must be preserved at all costs!

Fanfiction is just the best isn’t it? You can go read a little drabble about your otp having a morning cuddle with a side of pancakes, and then go to a 100k full fucking space epic au that someone just wrote cause they wanted to. We have heartwretching fics, coffee shop au’s, westerns, modern fantasies, arranged marriages, medieval stories, I’m so grateful to fanfic writers for giving us stories (some better than published books) about our favorite characters to read on the daily for free.
Thank you <3

Amazing!
This obscure fan theory was too good to not make an article about ASAP…. If the theory I am about to share is true, then it not only makes Dinobot an even more compelling character, but it makes his legacy all the deeper. It may also be the most controversial theory I have made so far. Anyway, here it goes; is the Predacon gone Maximal Transformer Dinobot a long lost descendent on the G1 Decepticon Megatron? As strange and as far fetched as it sounds, a lot of the evidence points in that direction.
Firstly, if we’re going by looks alone…
Dinobot has an even close resemblance to G1 Megatron than BW Megatron does. They even share the similar strange trait of their helmets looking like it can come off. Unlike all of the other bots on the series, no part of Dinobot’s face looks like an extension of his helmet and it looks like it has wiggle room. Also, G1 Megatron had the honour of being the first Transformer to sport eyebrows which at the time, was unique only to him and it was one of the defining traits that made him different and possibly a mutant. Dinobot’s helmet is so low that it almost covers his eyes. Could he be trying to cover up a pair of eyebrows of his own? I also want to point out two very distinct things about Dinobot which he also shares in common with Megatron. I once mentioned in a previous post that Megatron’s voice was very monstrous sounding even for a Decepticon. If you listen closely to Dinobot’s voice before he even gets the raptor alt mode and renames himself “Dinobot”, he has an animalistic voice and even does things like snarl. In fact, out of all of the BW Transformers, he is the one who tends to make animalistic sounds the most frequently even when perfectly calm. Secondly, when Dinobot unsheathes his sword, it is in the exact same place as Megatron’s spare white bazooka. And since we’re on the topic of weapons, for one brief moment in the classic 1980s Transformers movie, Megatron went at Optimus with a laser sword and displayed the same fencing style Dinobot uses.
Then there is also Dinobot’s motives. He doesn’t want to conquer Cybertron. He wants a better life for all Transformers namely his own people. He wants them to have the right to step onto Cybertron, the home of their ancestors, anytime they want without the fear of being convicted just because they call themselves Predacons or without being forced into converting against their will. As mentioned in a previous post, the Predacon society is in complete chaos, but one that stands out is the group of Predacons that still preserves the Decepticon way, but with a slightly different perception which Dinobot obviously is a part of. He respects might, but he also goes by a strict code of fair play and honour which G1 Megatron the Decepticon leader lived by fiercely. Moreover, Dinobot being a descendent of Megatron would explain why he went along with BW Megatron’s plan. If he was related to him, maybe he would have wanted to have the Golden Disk in order to seek knowledge about his ancestor or maybe he felt it rightfully belonged to him.
Having a relation to Megatron also explains a lot about Dinobot’s personality and his struggles. It could also explain his love-hate relationship towards himself and his own heritage. Being related to Megatron means he is related to a historical criminal whose misdeeds are used to justify the exile of his people and Decepticons. That can’t be an easy thing to live with even if your own people and you see the guy differently. It does explain the huge chip on his shoulder and why he feels a constant need to keep his code of ethics clean. It also explains why Dinobot felt tempted and almost gave in to rejoining BW Megatron. He thought that he had a chance at giving Predacons an edge at winning the war, but he then realised that he didn’t want better for Predacons using BW Megatron’s methods. He recalled how warfare ruined G1 Megatron’s chances.
It is also often hinted that Dinobot saw what was on the disks though it is never known what he saw other than that one clip BW Megatron was able to salvage and show Ravage. Maybe he saw things that gave him a lot to think about and also motivated him to destroy the Golden Disk for the good of Decepticons. For all we know, THAT was G1 Megatron’s final wish.
Of course, this is all theory, but you have to admit. The finger is pointing very sharply at this. Dinobot is not your average Transformer and personally, I do believe this theory to be true. If it is, then it means Dinobot redeemed Megatron’s lineage.
Anyway, what do you all think of this?
