My bio-nerd-brain needs to add smth to this (tl;dr at the end):
Your natural body scent is regulated by your pheromones. Pheromones are basically hormones for the outside of your body and often show themselves to the outside by smell.
In nature, they're used for multiple things, mostly for signaling your fertility and or your health.
Part of what is shown by your pheromones is how diverse your immune system is. So what kind of antibodies you could give to potential offspring.
When looking for a partner, you're passively looking for someone with a very different immune system to yours so your potential offspring could have a healthy immune system.
(This is also natures way of avoiding incest. Cause siblings got the same immune systems from their parents meaning the immune system of the siblings kid would be weaker than any other kids immune system their age)
So, if you like the natural smell of your partner, it's a big biological green flag
Tl;dr: You saying you think Toms natural scent smells nice just means you think you and him have very different immune systems
what kind of scent do you guys think tom has? i personally can't imagine him wearing cologne for some reason (which is a bit silly). he probably has some slightly sweet, very pleasant natural scent that is hard to describe. maybe laundry detergent or lemongrass

(in regards to the most recently posted confession at the time of writing this) (calling tomblr out for being weird sometimes) i'm not saying this community should feel shameful for their feelings, after all, trying to control human emotion is practically impossible, but like. i feel like tom himself could call some of you out and say "please don't say/post things about me like that as you literally don't know me i am a real person" and some of you still would. again, you don't need to suppress the way a person makes you feel, whether as just a viewer who enjoys tom's/techdif's content, or romantically (as parasocial as it is, but i digress) but either a) keep those posts private or at the VERY least without tags, or b) not at all. again, this side of the community is not hard to find at all if you're looking in the right places. i found hrk blog by literally just looking up "techdif" on google search and seeing their header in the image results.
tl;dr: tomblr i love you yo death god bless amen but i'm begging you please please be more thoughtful and considerate in regards to what you post about people that you do not know
