(Thoughts on the redesign below)
-I tried to simplify his color palette I really did
-the anime shirt was a gift from the anime watchers ™️ (he still has his capelet don’t worry)
-Ballora noticed it was a little big on him (it slipped down his shoulder a bit but he’d be damned if he didn’t appreciate a gift from new friends) and made him a lil spaghetti strap to help
-The bow was tied up so it wouldn’t be a hazard during “general maintenance” tasks. Also part of the reason why the skirt was shelved
-I couldn’t decide which anime to put on the shirt so use your imagination. Maybe it changes every day. Or it’s just a shirt that says anime on it idk that’s probably funnier
-slippersss EDIT I JUST NOTICED THE COLORS ARE SWITCHED :( ignore that
-Victorian-woman-flashing-a-bit-of-ankle length pants because I think it’s cute

I feel like I should mention that I am not a Ruin defender or apologist because a lot of my thoughts recently have been picking Ruin apart and if you weren’t me you could say I was woobifying him. I like to think of myself as a Ruin understander? I try to understand him as best I can with the means I am familiar with—which just so happens to be speculation.
Ruin is one of those Morally Ambiguous™️ characters that lands on a spectrum in the extremes. The worse a character’s crime, the more dire a reason or event(s) that pushed them to do it. The worse a character’s crime, the more they will try to cope with whatever they did, or they don’t cope at all. (Nevermind additional factors like environment.) That is what I like to think about. Crimes are not excusable no matter the reason; what makes a character like this interesting is how they think they were justified in what they did. It makes them varying degrees of sympathetic, but not correct. This goes for a good handful of the cast!
That being said, the fact a character committed a crime is not always a justifiable reason for other characters to commit crimes against them. In the case of Nexus’ treatment of Ruin, you could argue that it was a little bit justified in the beginning, Ruin killed Solar, but as that went on it was overkill and no longer about Ruin. In the case of Dark Sun’s treatment of Ruin, you can’t tell me that was done out of solely righteous intent. In the case of Molten, that was a direct consequence of the dimensional collapse, and Ruin had that one coming.
“Ruin kinda deserved how he was treated post Dimension collapse” and “It’s kinda messed up what happened to Ruin post Dimension collapse” are two statements that can (and should) coexist. Furthermore, there is no one correct interpretation of a character! But that’s just me

Meet Messengerverse!Error!! He's kinda goofy :) -He doesn't really have a name, but he will answer to anything he can even Vaguely associate with himself. He most readily answers to Shrike, or The Butcher Bird though.
-He hates touching the ground, outright refusing to if he has the chance. [He's even crashed from unplanned landings before, he got up & flew away soon after though, similar to a stunned bird :)]
-He loves Outertale still, but not for all the same reasons. He still thinks it's one of the most peaceful AUs, but he also enjoys how little it feels like standing on the ground. Sitting around the flouting meteors of Outertale, it hardly feels like he's on the ground at all.
-He doesn't actually fly using his wings, but instead a type of magic that his wings help with. He still looks a bit goofy in the air though.
-His coat is big and would drag across the floor if he actually stood on it, he thinks it's fine though, because he doesn't plan on getting close enough for it to be a problem.
-His eyes are worse than even canon Error's, he can barely see three feet in front of his face, and he constantly has to wear his glasses. If he lost them well. . . Goofy stuff can happen haha.
-His wings are based on both Northern Jacana and Shrike, though more Northern Jacana, both for color and the spurs. These birds actually have spires!! It's fun :)
