Rare photo of US175 (United Airlines 175) seconds after the strike on the South tower. Despite Flight 11’s plane remaining entirely intact inside of the North tower, US175’s starboard engine and several other parts of the plane scattered six blocks away from the site.

Photo taken by Robert Simko, who died in 2022 due to 9/11 related lung issues.
