Dunno why but I looked back and the quality on the last picture is garbage. Here's hoping this one isn't as bad, but if it still sucks at least I tried something different to try and help it out.
Well, spent a ridiculous amount of time on this. Again. But the brainrot remains, and had to have a Suletta to go with Miorine. So might as well try to push myself into drawing again with the complete gwitch pair.
So I have gwitch brainrot and spent a good portion of my night painstakingly drawing this on my phone. Well, tracing more than drawing really, but I'm actually quite happy with how I've done. So here's me posting immediately after finishing before I lose my nerve
I think I'm going to try and get a little bit faster with my sketching, now that I've kinda gotten the gist of what I'm trying to do.
Came out smiling more than the pic, and the glasses are a little wonky. If I can get these done earlier than I wanna try drawing something other than my face, but we'll see how that pans out
I end up looking grouchy in a lot of my photos-and that's because I am. Still not having an easy time of having my picture taken, even when I'm the one doing it. It's gotta get easier eventually, right?
My hair was truly bizarre here, and it is only going to continue like this until it grows out some. So. New way to draw hair thrust upon me I guess.
I need to be making both my glasses and nose a little bigger so they slot into one another better. And try and get my eyes more even
Ear is a little funky, but I think everything over all looks ok. Thought I messed up and made the chin area too squashed up at first, but now it looks ok, so maybe I need to keep that in mind going forward
New piece of paper new eye style to try out. Wasn't sure how it would turn out, been thinking of going all black for a while now, and I think it looks ok. We'll see though, I'll give it a couple of days at least to see how it goes
Again, the paper got curly which warped how some of the sketches photographed. But here is sheet two. I am impressed that I've made it this far and I think the spacing turned out better on this one (minus the last sketch I squashed in)
Finished sheet, nearly 2 weeks worth of sketches. Paper became a little curly on the bottom so a few faces are a bit warped in this photo. My use of space is, as per usual, hilariously poorly executed
Squished one last one onto this piece of paper instead of looking for another one to start on. Which somehow, despite the better spacing on this sheet, ends up with both of them having 13 sketches each
I think I need to take more pictures face-on because something about drawing them is throwing me off
Gonna have to figure out a good way to show the light vs dark hair. I've been kind of ignoring it cause it didn't show up super well in black/white, but now the contrast is more stark.
Listen. I start my sketches from my glasses and portion the rest of the drawing around them. So I just sat and stared at this picture for way too long trying to figure out where/ how to start it. Which I guess means I've become fixed into a set way of drawing myself- whether that is good or bad I could not say.
Little squished up top, but the bottom half is better than yesterday (thankfully)
"What is going on with those weird head shapes lately?" one might ask. And gosh, don't I wish I knew.
Feel alright with the picture, but the sketch came out pretty garbage. I guess it's just like that sometimes
Gotta work on a few angles- mouth, eyes, eyebrows

Thought the hat would be more of a struggle, but it wasn't that bad getting it on paper. Did make myself look angry, just from the left side of my mouth I think (eyebrow furrows not helping there either, but I still like them generally)
Kinda struggled with the chin/jawline today, but I am liking adding some light shading so it looks not so flat. Still undecided on the pupils, gonna keeping messing around with that.
Is this a more accurate representation of what I look like in my day to day life? Sure. Does it translate well into my sketch? Not so much.
No pupils: yes (more possessed) or no (more haunted)?

I know I've been talking exclusively about my sketches, but this is just as much about getting comfortable having my picture taken. And lemme just say, it has been a struggle, especially these past few days.
Glasses are wonky, but overall it's feeling like it's getting somewhat consistent
Might've exaggerated the nose just a little bit, but I think I was trying to over compensate for the glasses being a little too small. Figuring it out one peanut-headed sketch at a time
Whelp we gotta long caricature-like sketch today. Not intentionally. Tried to add some shadows. Even though even I know less is more when it come to shading. Oh well, experimented, tried it, maybe I'll play around with it in more moderation in the future.
The drawing and picture both look a little moody, but somehow in two different ways?
I feel like I went a little bigger for the nose, and it feels a tad bit more on track? Maybe I gotta try drawing it a little larger
