An autistic reader with x darkiplier and basically either one of two options. Reader is super overstimulated and dark is being helpful and kind to their s/o, or its like 3am, reader cant sleep, dark DOESNT sleep, doesnt need it, and is listening to them mumble at an almost incoherent pace about their special interest-

Dark legitimately could listen to you ramble forever. He's turn the nearby lamp on the bedside table off after seeing you're awake (didn't want to strain your eyes) and put the book he was reading quietly down.

He would ask you what's wrong, speaking softly while peering at you through his reading glasses.

Once you'd informed him of your wacky ass sleep schedule, he's simply suggest you curling up in his lap while he talked your insomnia away. (Only after making sure you were alright be being touched after all.)

Even if you did or didn't end up going to sleep, the night was very peaceful with Darks presence so close to you. His red and blue waves practically lulled you to sleep with their vibrations.

He literally will say random statistics for certain things as your watching like TV, like he will literally fact check them sometimes

He tries his best to understand your humor but he doesn't always get it. God forbid you say "sheeshhh" or "yeet" near him. If loading screen was a person that would be him after you saying those things

He tries to be sarcastic sometimes but it always comes out super monotone and like, he always has to say hes joking. He again, doesnt understand the concept of it so sometimes some of the "jokes" he says can get pretty dark and he doesnt understand why your not laughing

Sometimes he will cite information about your favorite characters, and if you ask him, he will notify you when its your favorite characters birthday.He doesn't feel the cold but he likes to wrap you up in blankets whilst you two are watching cartoons, will make you a human burrito 100%

He loves watching cartoons with you, his favorite is Gravity Falls oddly. His favorite character is Bill Cipher.

Will always let you pick the cartoon unless you ask him to pick it and he will ALWAYS pick Gravity Falls. Like ALWAYS. Unless it isnt on, then he will give you the choice again.

I love slow burn but sometimes I just want to literally jump into my phone screen to fight EXTREMELY, ABSURDLY, OUTRAGEOUSLY, oblivious characters that wouldn’t get the hint even if it was thrown at their faces in the form of a rock. :)
