This is my first time doing an ink illustration like this and I'm pretty happy with it! Please pay attention to the details they took so much work.

having indeed an adorable little meet-cute, which may not be an integral part of every eventual writer/lyricist & composer partnership

when phil drops in at wingate manor and he an orville have a private little wave to each other like =)

sitting next to each other sharing a hay bale and orville gets drinks for them both and phil walks orville home

the choreography where orville's at the piano and phil swings it out while rotating it and orville's "walking" while sitting to one side to help (my analysis: going ohhhhh ;w;)

both simultaneously answering "his" when asked whose song it is like the earnest effortless mutual admiration and appreciation huh fellas

margaret talking about protecting your heart from these theatricals; orville Is one of these theatricals, and he loves it; phil watching him / reacting in this moment including his little "hell yeah" move like he had for orville going off in lucky day

their general enthusiasm together / for each other / enjoyment of being around each other and increased ease of operating when around each other

phil wishing orville could hear his music and talking about how orville ruined his own night to save theirs, then remarking "...what a guy!" mmhm

When I was little I LOVED the taste of blues clues kids toothpaste. I'd just straight up eat it. My mom thought this was unhealthy and would take away the toothpaste if she caught me eating it. Or threaten to switch to grown-up mint toothpaste (not as tasty). I would crouch behind the open bathroom door slowly squeezing out blues clues kids toothpaste onto my hands and eating it as quietly as possible

this gave me such a beautiful visual i had to draw it. the true human experience of eating a little goopy in the dark

Ahhh Maria's persephone AGAIN!!! this piece took 15 HOURS to complete and god am I proud of how it turned out!!! I'm relatively upset that I'll never be able to see her as persephone in person but the little snippets I've seen are keeping me going!!!

a couple of maria-christina oliveras' persephone sketches because she was an absolute joy to watch and my favorite part of seeing hadestown on tour a few months ago i would not change it for anything.

whenever i remember specific moments and snapshots of that day she is the one thats often in them. i remember her sitting in the balcony, walking around the stage, the little bits and body jokes she made throughout the play. i am not sure i can properly explain why i loved her performance so much (other than the obvious of her being an extremely talented woman), i can only say that her persephone just inspired so much fondness in me, the same fondness with which i look at the women of my family and think of how much better they have deserved in their life. i wanted things to get better for her, i felt the weight that she carried in her soul, i understood her character in a way i hadn't before

so yeah, i think her persephone will always have a special place in my heart and i am so lucky she was the first one i got to see.

These two never properly interacted, but its fun thinking about what kind of dynamic they mightve had if they did!

Just wanted to show off some of my favourite billy witch promo photos, these were for the University of North carolina Wilmington / uncw production in 2017! (These promo photos feature Oliver, miranda and p.d lockwood. Though that may be a bit obvious)

Back to billy witch posting

Reading the script arden states that miranda is red headed. This itself is... technically correct as the non published draft was written for bloomington playwrights projects production? (And their miranda, courtney) at the time had curly short red hair)

Later in the script though it states that miranda also still wears her glasses? This leaves me to believe that the script is both a mix of either apacs/studio 42s AND bpps. Or thats just how it was in the draft?

AND the fact that in the performance of bpp sandy turns into a bat.. not a chipmunk? So I guess that further proves the point of it being a mix of studio 42/apac/bloomington??

(Also?? Arden has not been blonde. Once? Or atleast he hasn't been blonde in what I've seen. Not too sure about unm or post theatre?? Infact. Not even In the bloomington production was he blonde. So where on earth did that come from??)
