something i think about a lot:

when dark and cho fight in the showdown, i (and others) headcanon this being their breakup

i think beforehand they had worked out their feelings after blue screening and escaping alans pc, theyve dated, but the dark lord doesnt mention something important.

subsequently, chosen doesnt know how hard it is for dark to exist like this around him, and it never even crosses his mind to consder it.

it is so intertwined in darks code to "kill the chosen one", but he fights it because of how he values the relationship he has with chosen. he may not have experience but something about it is so pure and special to him, plus why not defy alans stupid ass commands?

but he gets exhausted

he consistently wakes up in a bad mood and finds himself with a blade at the sleeping chosen ones throat-

his chosen one

-and oh how it hurts him so.

he loves the chosen one. he makes him feel free, feel like his own being, more than a weapon against the other hollowhead. he finds every moment of exhaustion and effort worth it to be with his chosen one.

which is why it hurts so much when chosen attacks him without second thought.

all it took was a plan too much for chosen and his morals. no matter that the dark lord suffered for him. no matter that the dark lord sacrificed himself for this feeling. why would it matter if he wanted to pursue something of his own?

it hurts when he realises how stupidly easy it is to fight back.

of course his code remains. this feeling is still there, but maybe its more of a curse than anything else. he wants to kill the chosen one, he wants to erase his code from the face of the inter and outernet in such a primally disgusting way that it hurts the dark lord.

it hurts him to do this, but its so so easy to just let himself fight. let the instinct take over.

was it all for nothing?

theyre so in love with each other, like maybe dark falls in love with the way chosen exists in this world, the way chosen just shines when he has real freedom.

hes more than his enemy, he is a breath of fresh air, the chill of the wind, the shine of the fake stars in the sky.

he can just be, and watching it is like watching an artist do their work.

Been thinking about Dark lately. Specifically Dark's perspective of the first day out of the PC.

the fight was a complete whirlwind; he only got to see a bit of the PC, and then they were escaping and into the Outernet.

Everything is different there, beautiful even, but Chosen is experiencing it much differently than Dark.

Dark appreciates it, of course.

But Chosen is overwhelmed with emotion. It's good emotion! He's the happiest he's ever been! There is a light in his eyes where there wasn't before, and Dark is left to wonder what life was like on the PC before he got there.

victim *was* tortured over and over

it makes sense why he hates alan (cursors) so much

it wasnt a one and done, he suffered for 9 months and gave birth to trauma in the form of a rocket ship

the fact that it is so blatant that alan is just bored and bullying this bitch for fun like he is sat on a *laptop* fucking around with this stick he keeps calling victim and relinking he conciousness to that stick body

i loved that and also i felt smart (ik its obvious shut up)

i immediately knew mitsi was his wife and when i tell you i got attached, i mean i sobbed at how joyous they were and in my list of scramblings (a page of notes during the premier) i called her wife several times

i honestly dont get why people dislike yellow. hes my favorite 💪💪 great engineering minds think alike

great analysis! but id like to give my two cents over the "least atletic" part, because its kind of true

i mean, looking at the fights closely, yellow heavily focuses on providing support and quick thinking over logistics. when he does attack its because its too convenient of an opening to not go for it

plus hes the worst at parkour. he literally found out about the command block trap because he kept falling too much XD

i don't think its a bad thing. hes a good fighter, just not extremely focused on it like TSC or red. bro has his own interests. people who call yellow useless are either children who just wants to see sick punches or, as you said, people jealous of yellow's screentime

Okay, so Yellow is essentially the resident "nerd" of the group. He likes redstone, command blocks, strategy games, and coding. He canonically has glasses as well (when his face is visible), and he is quick to implement his ideas, especially during battle.

Examples:

He was quick to throw his staff at the minimize button because he understood where Greenscreen was getting his power from.

He was quick to begin making a plan to escape the piglins (whereas Blue froze instead - check part 1).

Yellow is someone that can understand what needs to be done and do it efficiently.

But, er, sometimes...

...he can get carried away. His inventions and mind can get away from him sometimes and cause consequences for him and his friends. Prime examples of this are the lucky block episode - (he literally got POSSESSED because he took apart a lucky block and used the glowing magic orb thingy to make gifts for his friends) and the Actual Short: Upgrade, where his invention essentially destroyed their house.

But now I kind of want to talk about more recent occurences with Yellow. As most of us know, there was a comment on one of Green's vids that said that Yellow had lackluster acting, and another one saying he was useless in the skit, both hearted by Green. In my opinion, the "useless" portion is fine (the comment was probably talking about Yellow's role in the skit), but Green could have responded better to the one about lackluster acting.

And this got me thinking - Yellow's probably really insecure about this kind of stuff. He is already the least popular out of the Color Gang (and Purple, Chosen, Dark, King, and Corn Dog Guy) - I'll explain my theory as to why in a second (hehe).

AND...I've also been seeing a few comments and fanfictions saying Yellow is the "worst fighter" or "least athletic" of the group??? These mostly stem from his kind of unconfident fighting stance in this scene...leading to him getting clapped (even tho everybody got clapped without the weapons).

And now my theory as to why Yellow is liked the least.

In my humble opinion, all four of the fighting quad had roughly around the same in the beginning. Of course, Second is the main character, and he lives up to that title, so he'd obviously have way more fans. But each of RGYB have different personalities that appeal to different segments of the audience.

But we obviously don't like it if our favorite character isn't having screen time or any contribution...and we also don't like it if another character that isn't our favorite is getting more screen time. Like Yellow in Animator vs Animation.

He's the one who hacked into Dark's computer and brought Alan's cursor to the Outernet, and kept a level head while everyone else was freezing.

And he's the one being wanted by Rocket Corp, while the other three were cast aside. He has a larger role in AvA than Red or Green or Blue, and I think many of us kind of dislike him for that. Heck, when I first watched the Showdown, I disliked it slightly as well.

Here some info about Blue:

Blue like in original love nether warm, but in my au, she also likes golden carrots and glowing watermelon.

She also dates Yellow and likes to give her nicknames like: Gold or Blondie.

After 20 ep lava scars left, but after the avm finale, she took various potions, thanks to which they are almost invisible, except for the biggest ones, which are still stand out strongly.

She is still distrustful of Chosen and Purple, but tries to make contact with the latter.

I didn't change the TSC canon much, but there are some additions.

For example, because his head is not completely hidden, her hair is half white.

Or the fact that they remember getting their friends back. Later, he began to improve her powers and noticed that in game applications, they powers disappear. In minecraft and in games without magic, it is completely absent. After the final, AvA Second was only once at the battle site, but stumbled upon the Chosen One and a stone grave TDL They talked among themselves. The Chosen One could not help her, but promised that someday he would visit him and his friends.
