Diary of a girl who stared too long at the moon
The most annoying thing in the word has got to be an overly hyper person. And I mean a specific type of overly hyper person. So as per usual I’m sitting with my friends at lunch where we are all eating and talking, normal lunch activities. And then…….this girl.
Bright blue hair (not saying that's a bad thing but just painting a picture.) starts screaming, today they handed out caps and gowns for the seniors so she was holding one. She’s jumping up and down talking about how she just signed up to die. And when I say she’s screaming I mean she’s screaming.
From what I gathered she had signed up for the marines which props to her for the record you go girl but like- why in the world are you screaming about signing up to die and how you will get a military discount. To make it known I am in no way hating on her for signing up. It's just like a girl. Please stop screaming in my ears while I’m trying to eat the triangle excuse of food my school calls pizza.
The power Inconsistencies with Eve:
This is in no way to bash her as a character and more a slight critique to the writers xoxo

Okay so I’ve seen a few people bring up how power scaling often doesn’t work when comparing characters from a game, show, or any other media. I personally don’t like power scaling, but to each their own. Now, Invincible has very odd inconsistencies with characters. Like Mark can be ran through a building and get back up but the electric shock of Powerplex will fuck him up? But also it barely affected Mohawk Mark? See what I mean?
I feel the biggest victim of the inconsistency in the writing is Atom Eve. Which Mark is a victim of this too but the most obvious for me is Atom Eve. I feel like we all know her power is OP as hell, that’s why they gave her the mental blocks as a plot line in the first place. But even WITH the mental blocks there’s still a lot she can do but the writers just won’t let her.
Yeah, it’s because they don’t want her to outshine Mark because he’s the protagonist, but then why give her that OP power? It’s probably because they wanted her to be able to be “immortal” or whatever but I don’t agree with that choice anyways.
They could’ve explained it too. Like saying that creating anything but those useless walls takes a lot out of her in terms of stamina. But they didn’t?
AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON HER SAYING TO MARK “now we just have to figure out how to afford a house” AFTER SHE GAVE HER DAD A GOLD APPLE AND AFTER SHE MADE HERSELF A TREE HOUSE AND AFTER SHE MADE THAT HOUSE FOR THE PEOPLE OR WHATEVER. That line truly pissed me off.
Anyways, imma call my yapping series called Screaming Into the Void.
So here’s the thing…
Chuuya grew up on the streets, and he doesn’t remember anything from before he was maybe 8 yrs old. He doesn’t remember having parents and he didn’t go to school, so he probably doesn’t know what a lot of words mean. Words that could be ‘common’ knowledge because people usually have some sort of education. Honestly he probably doesn’t even know what the word ‘family’ means.
Think about that, if Sheep told him he was a part of their family, he wouldn’t know what that means, and he probably wouldn’t know what the internet is either, so he wouldn’t be able to look it up like we would in this day and age. People would act like it’s common knowledge to know what these words meant, because it is, for everyone except for Chuuya. And he wouldn’t like that he doesn’t know what they meant, so he would hide that he doesn’t know what they mean.
He could take things in so many different ways, maybe he thinks the word ‘family’ means a large group of people that don’t really know each other, that ‘love’ is just a word to express something that he doesn’t know the meaning of, that there are words that we all know because we were taught about it, but he wasn’t taught about it, he wasn’t taught what names were until someone asked what his was, that having a tattoo on your neck that stated your designated code isn’t normal, or that expressing emotions other than anger isn’t going to get him killed.
Because he grew up on the streets, fighting to survive, fighting to have at least one more day alive, even if he doesn’t even know what alive means.
