This is my boy Beetle! He was born a loner and called to the Clans by StarClan after his mom died. Falconscream, one of my other ocs and an exiled Clan cat, guided him to the Clans, and along the way became a sort of mother figure towards him. Falconscream was wounded on the border of the Clan territory by a coyote, then gained injuries which led to her death during a battle to defend her original clan, StormClan, leaving Beetle in the Clans surrounded by strangers and alone.
He was made a healer because of his ability to talk to StarClan, but in reality he sucks at healing and sneaks out to hunt a lot, not understanding why he has to choose a role. It also doesn’t like living around so many cats and sleeps alone in the Medicine Den even when there aren’t any patients (usually the whole StormClan sleeps together in the warrior den) and he spends most of the day out of camp. He finds difficulty bonding with his clanmates because of their (reasonable) dislike of Falconscream, but eventually bonds with his mentor Moonflower and the deputy Turtlespeck. Although his clan name is Beetlebug, he usually goes as just Beetle. He’s a cutie patootie, who is mistaken for a young apprentice because of his small size, kit-like face, and blue eyes (young kittens always have blue eyes). It keeps Falconscream’s kestrel feathers in his nest, and his freckles are slowly growing! As he ages they will overtake his face, but when he was a kit they were just specks.
His adoptive mother Falconscream MIGHT have given him her blood curse she got from her dad sorry bud.

Fun fact! I started this forever ago and then abandoned and forgot about it because I thought her pose was boring, I came back to it recently and was like “damn! I can work with this!” and added the mouth and paw and writing. I always try to avoid cat mouths and paws but it’s okay and I need to learn that practice is good and it’s okay if my art looks bad because it’s just for me and no one cares🫶 anyways meow cats

This as another one of my “quick projects☺️” that ended up taking me all of December. Maybe if Wolfheart didn’t have six children all with different women. I was almost done and then remembered Falconscream’s entire foster family and had to add nine cats. You can definitely tell which cats I like and which I had to design just for this lol. Fun fact only 11 of these cats survive to the end of the first act. Anyways✌️ toodles

I think that this is the first animation I’ve ever actually finished! Usually I get bored after the first few hours, but I guess the built up energy after not drawing her for a month finally exploded. I’ve learned a lot and actually had fun, maybe I’ll animate more often!
But how do FlipaClip animators ever get anything done?? Animating is hard enough without an app that hates you. Anyways. Warrior cats.
I’ve been bored all day so I decided I had to make my own version of THE warrior cats reference. Fight scenes are fun I should do them more often. These guys are just battle training btw, they’re friends! At this point anyways (what would a wc story be without a little murder)

I really want to come up for more lore-wise with her, I'm still deciding on what to do... I'm close to just designing and writing out a clan (or multiple) for her and the kitties I'm redesigning to live in
I really can only imagine her in a southwest us setting (she was originally made to be in an old west warriors rp), so I think I might do something with that? We'll see
Character design test! I decided to combine all the predator animals from warrior cats I could reasonably fit in one design. I present to you, the nightstalker. A made up story told to keep kits inside camp, where they'll be safe from the actual animals the beast represents

This is Oddkit, he's a male calico named after his interest in oddities. Whenever something's different in camp he'll perk up and ask every warrior he sees about it. (In my fanclan the kits are named when they are 3 moons old and sometimes named after how they act)
This is Snowheart, he's a darkforest cat oc. He lost his lower jaw and died from an infection in the wound
