I experimented with eh consequences of last drawing. Kind of feel like this is too... subdued for what I was going for though.
I've been sick all week. Have story progression. New magic is being invented in the realm of dreams. But what does it do?

My brain's wandering around some contrived Meta level plot or other around my poor Azure Star and why they are probably fundamentally incapable of fitting into the wider Multiverse (including broader Fandom) because of what they are rather than who, and discovering that their entire "multiversal presence" is limited to like… a handful of variants of herself always in universes that have something kind of fundamentally wrong with them, at least compared to the "ideal" (IE Original) universe she discovers exists out there.
Just considering how it'd feel to find out you're just so fundamentally "weird" and "wrong" because of your origins that you've effectively been branded an outcast from all "proper" realities that exist and pushed out to only show up in the dregs, and what that must do to your self esteem
Celie is getting closer to a heart attack every day the games go on. Azure's powers of persuasion continue to evolve to the borderline supernatural. It's probably not a great look to pass out on the roof of a hotel with your mentor, but she's been causing controversy the entire week, why stop now?
Azure finally dispelled the Nightmare, and while the question of where it's gone now is a problem of its own, it does mean she can just... hang out with Luna in dreams now, without fear of the spirit trying to push her away.
The Equestria Games have begun, but the new "Princess Star" is playing a much more dangerous game of her own. Not even Apollopolis interrupting and showing off their fancy death ray could break her poise - she just saw it as a chance to take control of the situation and impress someone else.
Of course she could have killed everyone here in the process if she ticked him off too much, but she's much too crazed by hormones to respond to fear rationally...
Azure's mane looks good from approximately one side. The other is... complicated

Azure and Cog tried their best, Dusk went full Jaws and stole apples from under others, Golden Feather flagrantly cheated by creating new Apples from nothing, Night stayed out of the sun, Litter got dragged away by her own confused dogs, and Vitae had a nice conversation with that sweet little filly they rescued from the Chessmaster's schemes the other day!
Nobody even knew Crown was also there until after the fact.
I didn't miss a week, this just took longer than normal to finish. I'm not used to big ensemble pieces.
Part one of four (in theory) of a thing inspired by @zoeyhorse 's big eyed style and silly humor. Honestly not 100% confident of how things came out so apologies if it's a poor showing of the style.
Manually drawing text on a touchpad is awful, honestly I know I should make proper fancy reference sheets for all the students, funfacts and all, but these will at least get them all out there in some capacity. At least enough to maybe inspire an ask or two!
Nightmare Star. No not that one.
Despite all the art otherwise here, Azure Star is (at the time of this post) still canonically a Unicorn, albeit one working diligently to change that. The only solid visions of possible futures where she's ever actually seen that she really could become one for certain are actually of timelines where she fails to save Luna and instead takes her place by Nightmare Moon's side upon her return. But that's not the only way for her to do it, right?

There is a very strong possibility! I have, however, heard unsubstantiated rumors about ponies supposedly being "basically cats". I would like to put these rumors to bed with the attached proof!
Hey if anyone looks back and finds this, here's some mildly tweaked updates I did. This is one of the uploads I'm actually most proud of but I finally fixed that awful tail to be (mostly) accurate to the present rendition.

Azure's Highlights are kind of like little bananas in her hair, though she magically hides them in public.
Nightmare Night is a way out but it's never too early for costume ideas, and Azure has been reading way too many comics and has lofty costume ideas. Maybe Super-filly would have been more accurate with the whole clone thing, but that's not what she *wants* to be like
My Partner loves spamming little Autism creatures in chat and I had to counter with a 20 minute speed draw.
Back to Raster art. Azure might only be able to reach her through dreams, but she's already grown quickly attached. Even if she knows she can just wait a year, that's far too long a time and she'll do anything to get Luna back early - Nightmare Spirit or not. She'll pull her family back together yet...
To get a commission done I had to make a Vector, so I learned how to do that. Sticking with Raster for the most part but it was a fun experience.
