I UPDATED MY BRASS KNUCKLES SHIRT TO SAY “UR DEAD”!
todays my first day wearing it to school with that new addition, hoping i dont get dress coded for the phrasing cus it’s actually one of my favorite diys so far..
EXCUSE THE LITTLE WHITE SPECKS EVERYWHERE they’re from my fabric scraps xP
schoolbag patches and pins (so far)!!
hand painted each patch myself, including the MLP and Emily the Strange patches (those characters belong to their respective properties) and both of the pins i found on the floor outside!
THE “RAWR!” PATCH I FINISHED THE OTHER DAY IS DEF MY FAVORITE, it’s so sparkly and glittery x3
THIS IS AWESOME i’m so inspired x3 when u made ur first patch post it inspired me to make patches too
since then, i expanded into making some for my friends!!

I make patches (as some of you know), and am almost done with my patch bag that I'm taking to college. Here's the progress:
It also has several hidden fidgets around it (like the safety pin patch, squeeze it)
On the back I have 2 patches:
"Dead men can't cat call" (painted on the back pocket of the pants I used for this. The pocket is functional >:3 )
"ABORT"
I still have a few more to add, and I'm willing to take suggestions ^^
Also, the stars glow in the dark ♡

i hate making new pants because there’s only a few choices when it comes to pockets.
adding pockets on my thighs that make my thighs looks huge…..adding pockets on the knee area and not having room for knee holes…or just no extra pockets at all…. :|
(starting new patch pants as i type this. the paint is drying.)
finally has motivation to do all my diy projects.

decided to just take a picture while wearing my newly repaired pants, because i love them so much and i don’t want to take them off (they need to be washed so bad…)

been fixing the crotch for my patch pants recently bc i ripped em down the center 🙏🙏 that’s why i haven’t posted them yet…

yes i am posting my current patch pants at 2am…
(i need to add so many more base patches on the back ☠️☠️) but these pants have been torn apart and sewed back together soo many times it’s crazy.
my patches are as appear from left to right, top to bottom:
front:
anti-bomb/nuke patch, razor blade patch, tiny little reference to my favorite band…, an angel i drew and then painted, knocked loose patch, just a zipper, orchid patch, wristmeetrazor patch, (can’t see it but there’s a brass knuckles patch on the right(when worn) pocket), HKFY lamb, city of caterpillar patch, werewolf or vampire teeth(up to interpretation..)on the knee, thursday band patch, saetia patch, seeyouspacecowboy, the “cover heart” ep symbol from the band the saddest landscape(this is an original! how cool is that…), a patch that is an inside joke…, and a patch from the metalcore band dance of the seventh crow.
on the back: upsidedown peace symbol (“regular” peace symbol is technically incorrect and kindaaa… Used. to. be used by nazis…. history here) , mitch lucker stomp, another reference to not only my favorite band but my favorite album ever…, anarchy and equality patch, welcome the plague year (band) patch, on the very bottom: “all i wanted was a pepsi!”…

and so it begins
another jacket, this time with sleeves! spent the whole weekend trying to dye it (didn't work the first time, stuck my hand in dye water without thinking, dinged up my dryer, splotchy results, etc etc) but at last, it holds.
I've started transferring a couple black and white patches from my vest to this jacket, and I'm going to try to stick with those two colors and red. someday I'll come back to my vest and replace the blue flannel with green, and lean into that color to have some contrast between the two. but for now I'm focusing on this jacket, and I'm super excited
vest update
there's a few patches that I've temporarily removed to make room for the blue jay piece i added, but I'll probably reattach those to the back

this is my vest so far! I've been working on it in my spare time, and though it's slow progress since im embroidering almost all the patches by hand, im super proud of what I've managed. if anybody has any ideas for sci-fi / cryptid / queer supportive / spooky patches, please let me know!
as a side note, i do have a large back panel for this vest where the "protect trans youth" patch is. the back piece will only be attached with safety pins, so i think I'm going to put my more political patches there so if i feel unsafe i can cover them up. i made it over the summer but i recently started going back and touching it up, so I'll make a post with it soon!
