It’s here! I finished it! My first fanart ever!!!
I didn’t think drawing all these eyes and hair would be that fun! I picked mostly Yami and Yami from season 0 specifically, because I just wanted to draw him at the different “stages”. I think his design and character changed drastically between two adaptations
I think I should’ve drawn a little of best men Kaiba, but I’m here for hair for a most part. I like when people draw Yami with darker skin, even if it’s times when he doesn’t remember that he is a pharaoh, so I tried do that too
P.S. I will be in a middle of nowhere for a month and will not be able to draw digitally there. Don’t forget about me, please.

The Yu-Gi-Oh Problem
I’m going to completely ignore Zexal and on.
I really liked Yugioh 5Ds when I was younger, I don’t really know why considering it was kind of a blatant cash grab, but the English theme was really catchy and I really loved Yusei’s voice actor, I might have had a bit of a crush on Yusei in general. I guess I just totally fell for the cheap “edgy” gimmick, which is funny because it isn’t like DM and GX weren’t dark themselves, but whatever. Yusei is definitely the best protagonist of the three. Anyway, my problem.
DM anime happened in, like, the early 2000s, and GX was supposed to be 10 years later with 5Ds a couple decades after that in some nebulous future point. But all of the shows were produced in the mid to late 2000s, so all of the tech looks pretty much the same across the three shows, though 5Ds has some generic futuristic looking stuff that still manages to look out of date. This really doesn’t work with what we now understand of the progression of our tech, by the time of GX everyone should have migrated to touch screens and, like, holo decks and stuff, not still using the clunky duel disks. And who even know by 5Ds time, the digital age is making things pick up steam, fast. None of it makes sense, as driven home by Dark Side of Dimensions when Kaiba and Yugi has their ridiculous high tech VR duel, makes it look like VRAINS should be the series that comes in 10 years instead of old school GX. Whatever.
Insanely hype to see Kaiba start believing in the heart of the cards, even if he's absolutely going to lose this duel with Pegasus

I really liked these cards and wanted to see if I could make them into Fusion Monsters, It's a bit scrappy But I like him.

Heres an AMV animation thing! I tried to make it punk and 90s-ish with the style and editing, so I hope it looks somewhat like that! (Also ignore how bad the lipsyncing is at the beginning!)

Yugi and Kaiba talking about their day before Kaiba goes crazy mode and attempts to bring the Pharaoh back from the dead :) Also Kaiba was sitting normally before Yugi walked up and placed one of Kaiba's legs on his shoulder. Yugi is in a demand-y way and he deserves it. Also they're married.
If Seto Kaiba was a real person alongside Yugi Moto not only would they both have tiktok thirst trap edits with Yugis having serverly fewer camera angles because he's only televised for tournaments but also they would be shipped by real people because why is this high-school billionaire so adamant of fighting a literal nobody when he already has a strangle hold on an entire city and later most of the world because his rival disspaered so now only he makes the card game and card game accessories!!! They fuckin'.
Art assignment called “through the Keyhole”, made it Yu-Gi-Oh themed, as one does.
Within the keyhole is inspired by season 1, episode 2 “the gauntlet is thrown”. Outside of the keyhole is inspired by the duel monster “Relinquished”.
I’m still learning how to use coloured pencils properly, as-well as perspective but you cant learn if you don’t try.
