I just found out about a subreddit called r/actualasexuals where the whole thing is being a dick to people who don't fit their narrow definition of asexuality. I just wanted to let people know so they can stay away. Of course, don't harass anyone in that sub, because it doesn't help and it's just plain wrong. Just do everything in your power to stay the hell away!
my block list has over 200 people in it for the pure fact I can not have someone who likes 2 or more of the same characters as me
Is it bad I try gatekeeping my genre of movies to myself because I hate when my best friend seems more into it than I am. Because when I show her a horror movie and she constantly tells me about it like I haven't watched it it really pisses me off, so also tends to watch new ones I haven't seen and brags about it, and spoil the movie. And we watch movies up her ally all the time and when it comes to my turn she's like "I don't feel like it." Like bitch what do you mean?! The few times I stop gatekeeping you say no and watch it by yourself
Gatekeeping is so pointless and mean, ok
It doesn't make any sense... Like, oh, you're into music, are you? What was the first song ever made? What key did the universe explode in? Who composed the score to Ratatoing?
My brain crossed some wires and
“Girlboss, gaslight, and gatekeep. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect gamer girls. But professor utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concotion: chemical sex”
One of my funniest Tumblr moments was coming across this transmasc transmed making literally every bad exclusionist argument (e.g. "bi/pan lesbians aren't real", "queer is a slur", "you need dysphoria to be trans", etc), looking at their blog, and they're just flipping their shit over the pregnant man emoji. They're all like "how dare you remind trans men what they're dysphoric of??? 😡😡😡"
Yeah, like dude? May I have your attention for a second?

(not transmasc; just making fun of gatekeepers)
Just got asked if Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss was some sort of lesbian thing and I think that's enough being alive for today.
