I was tasked with designing an Archon for Genshin Impact based on the idea of “Dreams, Hopes and Wishes”. This is the full powered, more ‘primal’ form. A human form ... will probably come later. 27th September, 2022

CECILY PROFETA!! Another Genshin Oc, but she didn't fit into the lineup of my last post.
She is a blind meteorologist from The Court of Fontaine and a Hydro Catalyst. She works for the Steambird to deliver top quality weather reports using her ability to sense what happens in the future. Although she can't see, she will hear, taste, smell, or feel sensations of upcoming events, such as sunlight on her skin or the roar of thunder in her ears.
Chernila's Birthday
Funny thing about Chernila she shares a birthday with Miko technically anyway, she doesn't know her actual birthday but she was born somewhere in late-June early-July and she thinks its on the 27th,

Chernila my Genshin OC
Chernila my Genshin OC! They are a pureblooded dragon (Mother is a pyro dragon from Natlan, Father is the Sovereign Cryo Dragon) and some sketches of Chernila in the currently released nations :D
Chernila’s Cryo was essentially locked inside of them until the Tsaritsa almost killed them with frostbite, and despite having Cryo it’s not good enough for their father, so they spend nights in the snow, trying to become more Cryo in the hopes of making their father proud (despite the fact that Cryo hurts them) in other words Chernila just wants to be loved. Chernila can’t stand their reflection because of the frostbite on their face, (also because their father won’t look at them so obviously they must be messed up)

Fun fact about me! Genshi Impact has consumed my life in every aspect except financially (thank god) for a good part of the past 2 years, and I have yet to draw anything for it except a few simple sketches on my sketchbook.

Story:
Her name is Solei, she's a cartographer from sumeru? Kinda?? It's a long story.
She's from a family of traveling merchants, and having a baby didn't exactly stop them from traveling across teyvat, so yeah, she was born in Sumeru, and she would go on to receive her vision there eventually by pure chance, but she spent the majority of her early childhood in Lyue and Mondstat.
Her father is fontanian, and her mother's heritage is a slight mystery. She may be the slightest, tiniest bit non-human, but who really cares anyway? The world is vast and mysterious and full of interesting things to learn, she doesn't have time to wonder why not everyone's ears are pointy or why people look at her the way they do.
From the Chasm to Dragonspine to Seirai Iland ( long before the vision hunt decre was ever stated), they went around the world looking for trouble and getting themselves out of every situation by sheer stubbornness. Until their travels brought them to the confines of the sumeru desert.
She grows up to be a femomenal navigator and travel guide. Her maps of teyvat are worth millions of mora, if not more, considering how rarely she actually parts with them. She leaves her family's merchant group to travel with a group of friends through more inhospitable parts of teyvat.
The sandstorm was picking up. They needed to get out. The sun was about to set, they were already hurt, their shielder was... they needed to get out! But the only vision user was knocked out, their archer was barely standing, and she was straining to have a coherent line of thought as is, besides, she wasn't a fighter.
She was barely thinking when her fingers curled around her claymore's handle. Not batting an eye as the storm around her went from scorching sand to freezing cold. She only came to when her sword lodged itself in the dragons eye, freezing it from the inside out. She would be impressed if it wasn't for the blood trickling down her face and the ragged breaths of her friend hanging onto her shoulder and the fact that they needed to get out of here!!
She has her claymore sure, but that was more of a precaution than anything, she was the navigator, she was the one that figured out the right path, she was the one that should have prevented them from ending up in this situation in the first place, bleeding and bruised in the middle of a sandstorm going against a ruined dragon, Archons dam it they needed to get out!
Travelers from all over teyvat might have come across her, with her trusty claymore at her side, a cryo vision hanging in her headband and a distinct lack of travel partners beside her. She can party like an animal and talk anyone's ear off about anything imaginable, but one thing's certain. She travels alone.
Her kit:
She's a 5 star cryo claymore DPS focused on the freeze and shatter reactions. I haven't really thought about the specific of her abilities, but in general:
Her skill is a cryo Aoe that infuses cryo to her normal attacks and raises attack speed (and maybe buffs something else I don't really know)
Her burst is a buffet cryo attack that sends a shockwave from the character every 1.2s that applies cryo and deals damage to nearby enemies for a few seconds (don't know how long)
Her attack effects are based on various navigation equipment, like a compas and a compas-card, specifically.
One of her passive talents would be giving the party a Crit rate% buff if every member of the party is of a different region
The other one would be that she can identify nation specialties in every nation ( but I don't think hoyo would actually release a character that could do that)

The Mourner
My genshin oc, Plakal'shchik (mourner)
Previously, he was a court clerk in Snezhnaya, quit his job for a dream (which never came true) and moved to Li Yue, and then to Mondstadt.
Mourns, sings and prays at the funeral of those to whom no one came, for a fee from the cathedral. And after the dismissal of the undertaker, he took over his duties.
Sometimes he visits old graves, but from a personal desire.

A young man whose words are curt and harbor disinterest to anyone who speaks with him unless they offer a bag of mora, or are in need. While appearing to be no better than the Nobushi for his mercenary work, Kosuke harbors an unwavering will of morality and refuses any offer that reeks of ill intent because of the promise he made at his previous occupation. He's described by some people to be extremely dependable and strong, with his knowledge and speed being his second best trait. Despite these high praises of his work ethic, Kosuke is still painted as evil in the people's belief in the white and black world due to the constant rumors about him. Yet he never bothers to change their minds as it doesn't really matter to him.
However, to the few who have befriended him, Kosuke is a genuine, kind soul with a heart of giving and unconditional love for all things and everyone despite the horrors of reality. Even strangers who are hurting and of need aren't refrained from his kindness, willingly taking care of them and their requests without any payment. To be under his care is akin to a mother's gentle yet firm fussing, his voice barely above a whisper as he asks the person to be more careful. If you're lucky to be close to him, perhaps you'll see a glimpse of a warm smile and hear the soft laughter slipping past his austere exterior. As he is an anomaly to people, Kosuke tries his utmost best to not judge someone's character and their antics even if it doesn't make sense in the end.
But unknown to many people, he is riveted in guilt and sorrow towards his past, telling himself every day he could've done better. His father's lingering, monstrous grip on his self worth haunts very well into his sleep, leaving Kosuke restless and unknown to sweet dreams. He tries to move on from the demons that hunt him, often relying his mother's kind words to calm him. Usually hiding such things under his emotionless gaze, Kosuke believes such delicate manners should be kept to himself. But it's hard for him, as someone who cherishes his friends and family to not cry for them when he's alone and away from strangers' eyes. Being called the perfect samurai is nothing more than an insult and title Kosuke carries with him every day, making him strive for effectiveness on each job he takes.

Single Flower Earring
Kosuke isn't known to have many materialistic items, choosing necessities over mortal desires. And yet somehow this single flower earring had found its way into his possession, adorning his left ear every day. Out of every treasure and wealth, it is this type of jewelry he values the most and would never let go for any reason. How could he if it were the only thing left of his dear wife?
If anything, those were the times that Kosuke felt the most nostalgic for the past, the silly bantering and the loving embraces of a man and his love. He even remembered how much joy it brought to her, when she pulled him to dance on the day of her birthday after receiving a pair of flower earrings. A beautiful, precious memory where Fate had been so kind to let him have peace for moment.
And perhaps it was still childish thinking to believe in such ideas, but this earring was much like the whalesongs his mother used to sing by the seashore near their home. Completely nothing, yet nevertheless a honest enrapture of a dream long gone, but immortalized in a simple thing.
