Felt John in this scene as someone who has horrible handwriting a bit too much to not animate it 😔/lh I finally finished this after a few months woooo this was so cool to work on I hope y’all like it too :D

We've been designing fonts in art class and the words we'd write with 6 of our letters didn't have to make any sense so I used my chance to make a Sherlock & Co. reference🫡

Idk how to introduce this pitch properly, but look at what I've gathered:

Abed - Sherlock

Troy - John

Annie - Mariana

I bet the Sherlock & Co. trio would watch Community on TV nights and I can imagine Troy and Abed listening to Sherlock & Co. and eventually getting Annie into it too for the bit because they want her to know she's their Mariana🧍

This developed from me thinking about how Troy and Abed would dress up as John and Sherlock for Halloween and today I got hit with the connection between Mariana and Annie

Although John is the more "media-reference-y" one, but Sherlock and Abed are both canonically autistic and the way their dynamics work here and also in some other situations/the way they work themselves makes more sense that way I think

I adjusted the quote a bit to fit the era. I adore the quote and I can't wait to hear it, or a modified version of it, said in the podcast eventually. I'm actually gonna screech if it gets said in the podcast eventually.

I have missed drawing these two. I love them so much. I may draw more of them but it'll probably depend on if I'm too exhausted to draw and if my neurodivergent will let me draw what I want to draw. Lol.

The anatomy is a bit ehhhhh but I was so sleepy doing this and have just been having a very rough time drawing. I also forgot the little highlights on his lips & nose in the second drawing aaa. 😭 I haven't had a lot of drive and motivation lately. So, I haven’t updated much. TvT

W.I.P Sherlock & Co. drawing that'll be a part of a mini-comic for a scene from the episode Golden Pince-Nez. The cathedral is taking bloody foreverrr, but I am loving it so far. Some lines are wonky, so sorry about that. I'll be adding Sherlock and John soon. I just gotta get the architecture done.
