It's probably gonna be just me, but does anyone else wish there could be a scene in the show where resurrected Garmadon saves Lloyd in a volcano?
This might seem like I'm a sucker-for-angst-starving for a callback to Season 1 about their relationship, and that's true. I just really want a reference in the show to when Garmadon saved little Lloyd from falling into lava fifteen seasons ago and start crying as I compare it to the scene in The Green Ninja.
And imagine current Lloyd's emotions when he realizes why this feels so familiar.
Basically what if current Lloyd meets baby him. Logic is a foreign concept, you have been warned.
Lloyd to his younger self : What on Earth possessed you to get that haircut?
Younger Lloyd : What on Earth possessed you to look like this? Did you fill in your eyebrows or something?
Lloyd : uh, no—
Younger Lloyd cuts him off : and why are your eyes green anyway? Did you put contacts on because you disowned dad? Are...are you ashamed of dad?
Lloyd : .....
Younger Lloyd crosses his arms : Well?
Lloyd : I — I —
Younger Lloyd : yeah, you what?
Lloyd, literally about to break down sobbing : He disowned me!
This was funnier in my head lol.
THINGS I REALLY WISH GARM HAD THE BRAINCELLS TO WISH FOR USING THE MEGA WEAPON...
(I'm just pissed someone got their hands on a wish granting souvenir and basically... wasted it)
1. A wish to instantly turn Ninjago into his image. - (sighs) My man did everything he could to get to that point without just wishing for it instantly himself and taking the easy route. I fucking love this guy. ❌
2. A cure for the goddamned venom. - you'd think this one would be the most obvious of them all right? But apparently our Dark Lord didn't see that it was so here we are. (Though, sometimes I headcannon that he DID in fact try it, but it didn't work. I mean, the Golden Weapons were made by the FSM and even HE couldn't cure his own son so...) I'll give this a pass. ✅
Okay, I know the first two are the obvious ones. But let's move on.
3. Go back in time and I don't know...maybe STOP the Devourer's bite from happening in the first place, I GUESS? For fuck's sake, my dude literally DID use the weapon to go back in time in Episode 19, but did he decide to use it for this? Oh hell, no. ❌ But imagine if he DID though, but something goes wrong and Wu gets bitten instead. And the next thing he knows, he's pulled back to the present (because I'm just going to pretend the Mega Weapon has some screwed-up time limit) and sees the future he caused...and tries to fix it. (Because absolutely nothing goes as planned in canon and fanon)
4. A wish to strip his son of the prophecy. - Look, I get it. You're horrified you have to fight your own child to death and you've somehow managed to kinda accept it in later episodes of Season 2. Okay. So why not just wish Lloyd wasn't the Green Ninja? It wouldn't even hurt him. - The wish could still somewhat backfire by the role going to someone like Kai or the other ninja for example. But do you have to still stomach the realization you have to destroy your own son? Well, not really, huh? ❌
5. A wish to turn Lloyd back into a child. - So he was ambushed by the ninja in Episode 19 and that was when he first saw his son's...growth spurt, I guess? He was straight up horrified, but was it because he realized Lloyd lost his childhood or because he knew that this meant the Final Battle was drawing closer? An easy fix would be to just make him younger instead of... opening a portal into the past. He'd have more time to prepare and plus, this would also mean Lloyd could still have a childhood. And I don't think the ninja would try to pressure Lloyd to take Tomorrow's Tea again, now that he's got a second chance. Maybe Lloyd would argue though, but I doubt they would've let him.

SHORT KAI HCS/SMITH TRIO HCS
—-Kai visibly Looks shorter than the rest of the ninja however he looks taller than Jay only because of his hair gel but in reality he and Jay are the same exact height
—-I said this before and I will say it again to reach kitchen cabinets or any high place kai either does one of two things :
1) airjitzu’s and sets the entire place on fire 2) becomes an Olympic gold metal gymnast

—- Kai doesn’t get bothered much that cole and Zane are taller then him bc they are older… but the fact that his YOUNGER SIBLINGS are taller than him keeps him awake at night..
—-sometimes when nya or lloyd wake up in the middle of the night, scared and shaking, they go to the same person they’ve been going to all their life for nightmares: Kai
—-kai influenced/helped Lloyd a lot. And I mean a LOT, just as much as he helped nya. hair care routine? yeha kai showed Lloyd. how to deal with panic attacks? kai helps him breathe, and taught him how to handle it in case Lloyd is ever alone. Also someone else also said this btw but Lloyd’s weapon is a sword gee I wonder why

—-kai is a good liar/actor to most people except nya girl sees right through his facade
nya, “hey kai everything okay?”
Kai,” yeah don’t worry everything’s fine!”
nya gently hugs kai and Kai has an emotional breakdown: a sequel

nya and Lloyd,” we weren’t aware garden gnomes could talk”
—- when any one of them is sick the remaining two know exactly what to do.
Nya is sick? Give her some soup ! Give her some space! She’s independent and isn’t a fan of being taken care of (lloyd respects that!) but yk kai….Kid isn’t scared of nyas rages 💪
Lloyd is sick? give him some soup! make him laugh! hug him! Thankfully he’s smart enough to stay in bed and recover because he knows if he does that the recovery process will be faster! the real question is if kai knows that…
Kai is sick? Code red full lockdown bro is gonna go try and discover a new species while burning at a high temperature. um kai isn’t scared of nyas rages but when she yells at him for not resting while sick she’s like ten times more scarier someone save the poor boy oh look savior lloyd has arrived oh wait nope false alarm he’s yelling at Kai too
—-they all casually share hoodies, graphic tees, etc. but for Kai it looks little too big.. um…. don’t tell him that though…..
—--if things are too overwhelming for Kai he goes to nya and Lloyd. everything seems to melt away when they look up and smile at him
—-don’t insult nya or Lloyd in front of Kai or Kai’s gonna do a full sailor moon transformation and then into a VICIOUS garden gnome.
—-whenever nya’s inventions/ideas don’t work out, she gets angry and frustrated at herself due to her perfectionist nature. Kai always manages to make her feel better
“hey don’t worry nya, you have wonderful ideas and such a smart brain! you created so many things and I couldn’t have been more proud. how about we go eat a snack and then you can come finish this project later! I’ll even help!
—-Kai is really good with ‘feminine’ stuff like sewing (he probably used to stitch up ripped clothes when him and nya were kids) and hair. he knows 7384377348 different hairstyles and does nya’s hair whenever he can. he also tried to teach Lloyd but the poor kid became jumble of confusion. he managed to teach him braids though!!!
