MS!izuku who somehow, gets your number, and tucks the song and band you were listening to into the back part of his mind.
MS!Izuku who’s fawning over you all day, and when he gets home he types the song name and band into YouTube, expecting something mild and endearing like your personality. Oh god was he wrong.
MS!Izuku who’s shocked by the riffs coming from the song, but when Jonathan Davis’ voice comes in over his earbuds? Izuku’s stunned, so this was American music?
MS!Izuku who found himself absentmindedly nodding his head to the music, surprisingly, enjoying what he was listening to.
MS!Izuku who unlocks a whole other world thanks to Korn.
MS!Izuku who starts using metal as a release of his emotions, always finding himself at peace after spending a few hours blaring SOAD, SlipKnot or Korn in his earbuds.
MS!Izuku who starts talking to you about your taste in music, to which the two of you are quick to bond over.
MS!Izuku who finds himself falling for you just as quickly as he fell for metal music, finding your knowledge of music so incredibly attractive.
MS!Izuku who would spend hours listening to music with you after school, either at his apartment or your house, the two of you blasting music on speakers and aggressively dancing.
MS!Izuku who knows how deep he’s in when he accidentally squirts water from his nose when you start to dance like an idiot, making him laugh so hard the water he was drinking shot from his nose like a hose.
MS!Izuku who can’t help but daydream about being up on a stage with you, screaming your hearts out to SlipKnot or Korn. He know’s it’s silly and he should be paying attention, but it’s so hard when you’re nodding your head to the music in your earbud, your hair bobbing slightly with the motion.
MS!Izuku who feels incredibly put down when the girls in class tease you about hanging around a loser like himself.
MS!Izuku who finds himself incredibly frustrated one day after Katsuki told him to 🦢🥽, finding himself with frustrated tears as he walked into his apartment, storming off to his room.
MS!Izuku who looks up after a few hours of sulking (with SOAD and RATM playing in his ear buds) to see you walking into his room, a smile on your face and a box in your hands.
MS!Izuku who sits up on his bed, giving you a curious look and a small smile, greeting you with a small smile. “hey Y/n, what’s in the box?”
MS!izuku who is surprised when you offered it to him, softlt explaining how you got him a little something thanks to his hard day at school.
MS!Izuku who shyly accepts the box with a few “you didn’t have to do that”s and a couple “that’s really sweet of you”s
MS!Izuku who nearly bursts into tears when he opens the box to see a CD player, a speaker, and a few discs with SlipKnot’s ‘All Hope is Lost’ album, and Korn’s ‘Take A Look In The Mirror’ album burned into them. The best part? The CD case you’d bought him was All Might themed.
MS!Izuku who changed his mind and did end up crying, throwing his arms around you and thanking you, crying into your shoulder. God he was a sucker for small acts of kindness, but this? This was almost too much for his heart.
MS!Izuku who tenses as you say you have another gift for him, looking up at you for a split second, before he feels a soft pair of lips on his cheek.
MS!Izuku who blinked a few times before registering what happened, his entire face going red as he stammered out confused syllables, but nothing comes rant.

MS!Izuku who knew he not only fell in love with metal, but fell in love with you too.
Felt silly while listening to Korn so wanted to write this. I love middle school Izuku sm. He’s my spirit animal.
My mom actually listened to the tuffest music ever??
I’m in my living room listening to SlipKnot and my mom tells me to turn it down cause she doesn’t like the screaming.
So I tel her that there’s a SlipKnot song with no screaming (Vermillion Pt. 2).
To which she tells me about Stone Sour, where Corey Taylor (the lead singer for SlipKnot) is also the lead singer of.
So I get opened up to a rock band.
Cool cool, I love SlipKnot, and Corey Taylor has an amazing voice.
Then my mom talks about how she used to listen to KORN, and I was like “oh yeah, I’ve been meaning to listen to them.”
Then I was blissfully jamming with my mother.
And THEN she tells me about Pantera, and oh my fucking god I’m listening to it as I type this.
Safe to say I didn’t expect this from my easy going, Christian mother who listens to worship 99.9% of the time.
My mom is the coolest
