Does anyone else remember when one of America’s most famous science communicators, Neil deGrasse Tyson was accused of rape and many other chases of sexual misconduct.
And then nothing happened to him. He was barely investigated. He just kept his job as DIRECTOR of the Hayden Planetarium (the 3rd largest Planetarium in the United States). He also kept his job on the Cosmos continuation (which aired in 2020) and his podcast/tv show StarTalk.
And while I will admit that their is no definitive proof of the allegation of rape, the two other public reports of sexual misconduct have not been denied by Tyson. He has however said that he did not intend for his actions to be sexual in nature.
The four brave women that came forward with these allegations are Tchiya Amet, Katelyn Allers, Ashley Watson, and the fourth woman who remained anonymous. Please make sure that these women are not forgotten.

I read something on here, I didn't safe the post or remember who it's from, about Firefighter. For those of you who don't know what it is it's a rape "game". When someone asks you to play Firefighter and you say yes, it's "content" to let them rape you. Reading that made me remember about when I was sexually assaulted. It made me remember more details leading up to it and even made me remember the date of it, March 18th 2021. And surprisingly, I didn't break down, I didn't relapse on my SH, I got angry, pissed, I still am angry but not as bad. I hate that I remembered when it's way too late to do anything and that I still can't remember it fully. I hate that after I started making peace with it, I had to remember more of it.
I started to realize that the "game" is kind of coming back to light so I want to tell people about it to warn them. So if anyone EVER asks you to "play", run for the hills, scream your head off, and find authorities. Don't respond to the person, just run.

Referring to ace people as “virgins” or “turbo virgins” is especially disgusting since ace people are the second most likely orientation to get raped. Whether you want to argue that this is because of abigotry or because we’re more likely to be/be regarded as sexually unavailable is beside the point. We are at greater risk of sexual assault, and the “virgin” taunt disregards that many of us are not virgins and not by choice.
Virginity is, of course, a heteronormative bullshit concept at its core anyway. But when I think of those of us who have been assaulted, or coerced, or convinced themselves into sex out of terror, the word “virgin” seems especially poisonous.

Rape laws in the UK are sexist. As defined by the Sexual Offences Act 2003:
Section 1 makes it an offence for a person (A) intentionally to penetrate with his penis the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) without that person’s consent if A does not reasonably believe that B consents. Subsection (2) provides that whether a belief in consent is reasonable is to be determined having regard to all the circumstances, including any steps A has taken to ascertain whether B consents. This and the offence in section 5 are the only offences that can only be committed by a male, because they relate to penile penetration. Subsection (3) provides that sections 75 and 76 apply to this offence. Sections 75 and 76 deal with evidential and conclusive presumptions about consent.
The Crown Prosecution Service describes rape as:
The elements of rape are:
(A) intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis; (B) does not consent to the penetration, and (A) does not reasonably believe that (B) consents
Penetration of the mouth is included.
This petition seeks to change this sexist and outdated definition of rape.

2 days ago (3/7) I had to flee a situation in which a potential john attempted to sedate and falsly imprison me and have a pet animal perform sexual acts on me for his gratification. I had to spend money that I Did not and Do not currently have in order to flee the situation. This has shaken me in a way that has made function nearly impossible. I haven't eaten since the incident and have been self medicating in such a way that most would consider dangerous. My $1150 rent And my Light and Gas bills are past due. This is not Normal for me. Nothing feels real.

I know this maybe is fake, but... I just can't stop thinking about the fact that, even if, as I already said, this is probably fake, there is people who actually support things like this. Like ""MAPs"" (who actually shouldn't be called like that bc they are sometimes related with multi-animator projects and those horrible monsters shouldn't be called in any way except for pedophiles, because that's what they are) having flags or even rights. And now this, a fucking "rapesexual" flag. Which maybe some people will support thinking that it's fine. It isn't. It fucking isn't.
Obviously there is an exception for dark writers(I forgot how they were actually called) or people who read fics of rape, non-con, etc., since they don't ACTUALLY want to be raped or something, it's fiction. Yet not always fiction will save people. Like liking a fictional kid, just because it's fictional doesn't mean you can like them (obviously you being an adult, if someone would be a kid and like a fictional kid would be fine, since it's probably just one of those silly crushes).
But back with this horrible shit of ""rapesexual"", raping is not fine in any way (except in the way I just said about the fics and all that), you're making a crime and disrespecting the other person by not accepting their choice of just not wanting to make love. It doesn't matter if it was just once, it's still horrible and people just need one rape to already get traumatized.
