These three are friends. Henry and Michael draw together. Henry and Ethan share their disinterest in evil pretty ladies. Ethan and Michael talk about their favorite family members (rose and C.C.).
Then they all take a field trip to their respective afterlives, have breakdowns over their failure's, experience immense amount of death, and sacrifice themselves for the greater good. Only to come back to life in the next game.

I always forget how bad I love the intimacy of it all until I watch Ethan shiver in the corner and cuss like a teacher finally cutting themselves some slack and allowing a notable shit to cut into the noise of a misbehaving fourth grade classroom, and fucking Leon Kennedy backflip over chainsaws and sit on a thrown for shiggles as he saves the presidents daughter back to back
resident evil 7 was a stroke of old fashioned emotional horror in a series of action kickass plots and im so insanely like crazy abt it
it gives me the same feeling of a warm mug heating up my hands on an early morning as I watch a bird prance along a tree branch and for some reason im hit with an overwhelming appreciation for life yk

Gotta hand it to Capcom though, this game is quite a handful. This style of horror goes hand to hand with what’s popular today, while still keeping that classic Resident Evil feel without it being too heavy handed. Things get out of hand really fast in the story, it hands in that tense atmosphere really well!
(this is the second version of this, I tried to go for some more contrast with the whites here. You can play Spot the Difference with them, at least =P)

This time featuring an attempt at a more realistic drawing of Ethan from my fic Sclerotium, formerly known as Molded
Little sneak peek for the next chapter. Chapter 3 isn't the most well-written thing ever and the ending is really nonsensical, so OOF. I'll try to revise the ending a bit but I can't make any promises, so just a heads up that chapter 3 may be a bit disappointing. That's okay though since chapter 4 is where the story starts getting good.

“wHAT THE THUCK?” He ripped his hand away, severing the connection, but he could still feel whatever it was wriggling inside of him, under his skin, up his arm. The sensation was nauseating, enough so that Ethan vomited. Black slime scattered onto the floor in front of him and, oh fuck, that was the stuff from inside the bathtub. He watched his vomit writhe, spreading like rot on a log, and Ethan nearly vomited again.
Holy fuck, that was inside him. It was inside him. He just wanted to get it out, get it all out, purge whatever this was from his system and get it out. Faintly, he heard the laughter of a young girl.
“Who’s there?” Ethan croaked, ebony droplets spilling out from between his teeth with every exhale.
“I didn’t think you’d forget ‘bout me that fast, son.”

Alright guys I finally got around to drawing a more realistic version of mold Ethan, weird mold vines and all. Made this just so I can help myself visualize what he would actually look like rather than the simplified cartoony version I've been drawing practically this entire time OOF, I'll probably post an edited version of this on AO3 at some point so readers can also visualize him more realistically too
Keep in mind this isn't what he looks like currently in the story, this is towards the end of the game
