One thing I think is rlly interesting abt splatoon lore is how money isn’t really all that necessary to live - there are thousands of other ways to get things like food and drinks (housing?? Idk…) but I just think it’s kind of neat we get to peek into this sort of capitalist non capitalist world where money isn’t really an issue for anyone
