Tumblr Help - Blog Posts

Don't you just love when you accidently share a nsft post with a random tumblr user because you were half asleep. Them bolt up and have a complete panic attack trying to fix it only to realise that there is no way to even confirm what you sent and to who. Now you are just waiting for this person to message back like wtf.
No idea what post or who.
If the person I sent that to looks at my account and reads this I am so so sorry.
Tumblr and being sleepy is not a good mix.
Currently having a panic attack right now.
This has never happened to me before and I am trying to figure out how big a deal it should be in my mind. My anxiety says life altering bad but part of my mind says it was an accident and not the end of the world. But then my brain overrides that and I feel like the world is ending.
Tumblr reblog chains are in danger.
It seems that the staff is actually going to go forward with their decision to remove reblog chains, where reblogs will basically work like regular comments on other websites.
This doesn't just make the site completely unusable, it removes the soul of the community that has managed to build up here over the years, and that I'm so happy to have recently joined.
It makes impossible the creation of great posts where many people build up a single thing, until it is a gem of expressed human creativity.
There will be no more world heritage posts, no more messing around with your mutuals, no posts worth remembering.
There will be no more Tumblr, and the Tikblr or TumbTube or whatever monstrosity is born from its corpse will soon die, as is probably the best. And then there will never be another place like this on the internet, no place anymore to run to, no more fun, no more community.
I recommend a simple course of action. When these changes get imposed upon us, stop using Tumblr. Get your mutuals' discords, your favourite artists' websites, and leave. If the Tumblr we have once known returns, we well too. If not, better let it die quickly than suffer a long and painful decline.
I beg you to reblog this, for the more people see it, the higher chanses are for this to work.
And add something, so we can show them what Tumblr is really for.

I'M ALIVE!!
Tumblr stopped working for me for the past 3 days AND IT WAS PAINFUL.
I was locked on the loading page and even the help site wouldn't open so I can ask for help.
Thankfully a very kind person on Reddit (R/TumblrHelp) figured out that turning on VPN would fix the problem :)

can side blogs reply to their own posts, or are they not able to reply to any posts? I’ve read that they can’t reply to other people’s, but it isn’t clear on posts from the blog itself. surely they can?

Hey so i think i found the character?? i've done some digging and apparently it comes from the Pathologic games, but i still haven't found the Art i was referring to, I don't know anything about pathologic but oh great and mighty pathologic Fandom i summon you! Pls help 😭😭

Hey, so. Genuine question. Is it Tumblr etiquette to just... message somebody? Like private messaging? Is that allowed? Who can you do it for? Is it people you've already interacted with? People you think are cool?? How I talk to them? Do I just say "Hey, I like your blog"???
what even is this texting scam?? sometimes you'll get bots texting you about commissions (very weird, just read if the person has comms info) and they'll usually only have one or two posts (typically a reblog or stock photo) or none at all. you'll get comments about it too. i'm a new user here (less than a year) pls help wtf
Help to find show!
A while back I remembered an old show I used to watch as a kid but I can't remember it's name or find it but I do remember the show itself, which are:
there's an animal airport with flying animals
It's animated
The animals are anthropomorphic
some of the main characters include two rabbits (one red and one yellow), a female squirrel and a baboon
They're neighbors with beavers
While it was dubbed to fit my country (Sweden) I would guess the show itself could be either French, Canadian or Australian
Animation studio wise it reminds me a bit about zig & sharko or Grizz and the lemmings.
The show is at least around a decade or less old since I was (I think... 7-9 years old and I'm now 22)

ok so I am new, but so far I really like how customizable this site is and the community seems chaotic but in a good way...
BUT I am still so lost-
could any tumblr veteran give me advice or guidance?
also any fellow newbies wanna be friends and figure this out together lol
