Fun fact about me, I actually love mermaids. I was obsessed with them as a kid, and even drew pictures and made stories. I entered on into a writing contest when I was in 3rd grade too! Maybe I should re-draw them? That might be fun!!

I really like how this one turned out! The way that I blended the colors, the hair, the inking! This is really showing my improvement!

So... I got a TikTok recently, and found this gem on my For You Page, and had to draw it. I really like how it turned out, and I might turn this into a thing, drawing cosplays that stumble onto my Fyp.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!

So the other day I watched The Thirteenth Year on Disney+, and I had the urge(tm) to draw this mad lad.

I kind of popped off drawing him, ‘cus when I was younger I had a crush on him?? Should I draw my old school crushes?? Like from childhood movies and tv shows. Ehh, then y’all can guess how old I am.

All of my family has straight hair, and the only one who I could ask about is my grandfather who hasn’t had hair since the 50’s. I never new that I’m not taking care of my hair right!

I hate my curly hair so much I'll brush it for like an hour and itll he smooth as silk but in literally like one minute there's at least 10 knots wHY

BECAUSE IT’S NOT MEANT TO BE BRUSHED!! 

STOP BRUSHING OUT CURLY HAIR 2k19!!!

I hate this, because almost no one knows it. No one tells kids with curly hair how to actually take care of their hair.

You can’t treat curly hair like straight hair and expect the same results! You can’t! It doesn’t work! Curly hair gets its own routine! 

Okay, look, here’s the deal.

Your curls are… curls. They are MEANT to go together into a GROUP. They are not like straight hair which just hands out in one big… thing. Curls have groups.

By BRUSHING it, you are splitting those good-curl groups into separate strands, which, on their own, are STILL trying their goddamned best to curl, but now that they are away from their friends, they are only clinging haphazardly to each other as best as they can and creating tangles!

Here’s what brushed curly hair looks like:

Here’s what well-treated curly hair that has CURL-FRIENDS is supposed to look like (curl size may vary):

See how the curl is NOT only one strand of hair? It’s a whole group!

You know how you get those nice curls?

STOP BRUSHING.Give your curls back their curl-friends!

Okay, here’s the deal - you sit down. You look at this chart. Figure out your type of curl. (guesstimate)

And now you go to this website and you read about what curly hair actually needs to thrive, and you change your routine, and you promise me that you will NEVER disappoint your curls like that again!!!! 

Basics:

1) Curly hair is damaged by heat, lack of moisture, and sulfates in shampoo. 

 - No blowdrying - use a cotton towel or t-shirt to scrunch your hair and get extra moisture out, and allow to air-dry

 - Turn down the shower temp while washing hair. I mean it.

 - Try to find a better shampoo.

2) Curly hair NEEDS moisture, and it NEEDS leave-in conditioner.

 - Use lots of conditioner.

 - Use leave-in conditioner

 - Try to use water spray over chemical setting sprays. 

3) Curly hair does not need to be brushed, only combed with a wide-tooth comb.

 - Comb the hair through with your fingers while in the shower and detangle while you have conditioner in. 

 - Comb again with a wide-toothed comb after the shower if needed

 - If you need to, use a twist of some sort to keep hair out of the way, but don’t squeeze it too much - give it room to breathe!

More tips from smarter people probably exist but that’s the basic stuff.

OC introductions!!

So, I just posted the speedpaint to this lovely lady down below, and because she is not just an OC, I am going to explain her on here, under the cut.

This is Harper Flex. She is the main character of an actual book I’m writing. I’m not very far into the book, but I have her fleshed out.

She is what is called a Hopper. She can jump through alternate dimensions. One of the best ways to tell if a person a hopper is if they have rarities with genetics. Harper has heterochromia, like her mother. Hopper is a recessive gene; meaning the both parents have to be Hoppers.

But, on the other side of that, they is a kind of government called the IHT (Inter-dimensional Hoppers Task-force) that Hoppers have to get permission to procreate with other Hoppers. Harper, in particular, was an illegal bread. Her parents fell in love, had her without permission, and ran away from the IHT when Harper was old enough to hop. Which was 5 years old. It was not till she was 12, that they were caught, and Harper's parents were sentenced to death. She was forced to watch her parents demise.

Harper grew bitter after that. After her escape, she never stuck around dimensions for more that a few days; the longest she has ever stayed was 2 weeks. 

I don’t want to give away to much about her because of my writing. She is 16. Her parents names are Laik and Acelynn. That’s about all I’m gonna go into with Harper, but if you have any questions about Harper, or the story, don’t be shy, ask away. Don’t forget that I am taking requests too!!

You know, something just hit me. Todoroki, Bakugou, literally all the boys people draw thirst art over or draw smut in 1-A; they’re 15. Like literally, they are only Freshman in high school. Yeah people usually age them up when they draw that kind of thing, but like... they still kids. In cannon, they are children. And that just hit me.

Like, I wasn’t even looking or reading anything in that category. I was watching a video of someone drawing Todoroki, and I thought to myself ‘huh, Todoroki has a baby fact. His chin isn’t as big as people usually make it.’ Then boom. ‘He’s 15. Why would he have a really pronounced chin/jawline. He’s a child.’

In conclusion, y’all nasty.

Behold, the final product. Yes, I know that Danny and Sal are at a different height in one picture compared to another, but I don’t care. I tried to do a thing, but it didn’t work out, so it’s different. I’m very happy with how the final product turned out, especially the background.

2 am crack time!!!!

So, I was thinking about How To Eat Fried Worms (2006) and how the main bully (what’s his face- Joe?) and Bakugou are kind of the same(?) Like, they bully someone weaker then them because they, to feel weak, Jow with his older brother, Bakugou with his whole ‘I realize I can’t beat everyone and that makes me mad’ shdick.

And the more I thought about it, the more I started thinking about the Bakusquad and Joe’s little gang, and then !BOOM! I had the thought. HTEFW x BNHA

hey just a heads up/warning for those of you who don't do well dealing with the heavy subjects or videos portraying violent acts, sandyhook promise has a new gun violence school shooting PSA that is probably going to be going viral and is slated to play on television and in AMC movie theaters and it's pretty heavy, especially at the end. I know it's a topic that needs to be discussed but it's not a video that everyone will be able to watch, so just a warning for those of you that might not be able to handle it.

I’ll never forget that one time I was talking to this boy and I rejected him (mind you I almost gave him my address because we were supposed to go out) and he stalked and harassed me for an entire month and put my number on Craigslist (I was getting hundreds of calls and texts every day to the point my phone stopped working).

So, since The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals came out and I have watched it, (and waited for it to get popular on Tumblr) I had wanted to do a Voltron AU of it. But the problem is, I don’t have a clue on who I want to be who, or if it is still “musical” or regular life. And I have no idea who I want to be who for the AU.

That also goes into another problem. Shipping. Now, I know the Voltron fandom is a little temperamental when it comes to shipping, and I don’t want to poke the bear with who I want to be Rmma and Paul, Charlotte and Sam, and everyone else it the musical that is married or together with someone. So, with that being said, I have like 4 characters that I must have as the final characters in the AU, that I am not going to say, obviously, but I need ideas! I need help!

Ahh! I finished my fan art for two webcomics that I love. Days of Hana with Hook, and Sirens Lament with Ian. You guys, I seriously recommend these webcomics, and if you want me to draw any of your suggestions, send me an anon and I will do my best. That’s all for now, bye!!!

I mean, for me, while yes, she did deserve some of the things that she got (like not being able to see her child as much till she goes through therapy) but did Reginald ever really teach the children when and when not to use their powers? 

Like, yes, don’t use them during meal-time, like we were shown when Five asked him how to time-travel, but did he ever really teach them when to face problems like an adult, and when to face problems like the Umbrella Academy? 

This, and the same problem I have with Luther fucKING STRANGLING HIS SISTER WHEN SHE FUCKING APOLOGIZED FOR HURTING ALLISON IN THE FIRST PLACE, he didn’t ever really give her an option. He was thinking with his powers, not his head. 

I, personally, don’t really think that Reginald taught the children those skills because he never really planed on letting the kids go. They never went to an actual school to learn, they only had the parents and guardians of the house to teach them things, and that can’t really count as having sociable interactions, because these are the same people they have known for their entire life. Hell, Luther did not leave the mansion beyond missions and midnight escapades till he was 23, and that was to go to the moon.

A part of me likes to believe that Reginald did love the kids, even a little bit, and he didn’t teach them these things because he never wanted them to have to use them in the first place. Reginald does not like kids, this is clear. But did it ever say the he didn’t like people, or at least, family? Hopefully this can be shown on in season 2, where technically the kids are not kids.

But seriously, who the fuck does that to their kids? What the fuck?

I know everyone, like, harries Allison because she used her powers on her kid (the other stuff was fucked up), but it’s honestly not the worst thing she could’ve done and I hope we get more insight on what she actually used her powers for. I know making her exhusband fall in love with her and get movie rolls is not acceptable, but honestly she could’ve done some fucked up shit, so there must be a decent human being in there somewhere…

It is 20-FUCKING-19, and the fact the people, no matter their gender, no mater their sexuality, are still going through this disgusting process now, if FUCKING REDICULOUS.

We, as a human race, are prone to push labels and barriers into people. Barriers like men are not supposed to show emotion, all women not to did a dress size, students need to his a certain grade or they are dumb and useless; things that have been the cause and effect to many tragic events in history. AND I HAVE IT UP TO MY FUCKING DEVIL HORNS WITH THIS BULLSHIT.

People are people. Men can cry, women can be big, no matter what the FUCK is in your pants can be raped. Can rape. Unwanted sex is unwanted sex. THAT IS EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID. When you cause any physical, mental, and emotional trauma to a person, it is your fault. Not the victim, because that is what they are. Victims. And the definition of victim is: A person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action. Any man, woman, person of no or multiple genders, and everyone else, I am whole heartedly, utterly, upset because you had to go through this horrible thing. It is not your fault, you were not responsible for the event, and even though you might hear this non-stop, everything will be okay soon. Just keep pushing forward.

Don’t read, just getting something off my chest

Sometimes, I just feel like screaming. Like, if can feel something sitting in the center of my chest, something heavy, but it never rises up of falls down.

Sometimes, I just feel like crying. I can feel the sob in my throat, and the tears starting to burn the back of my eyes. But I never do, because it always goes away.

I never tell anyone what I am thinking, what I am feeling, because it has become something that I see as whining in my eyes. These things that I feel come randomly and sporadically, so I don’t see it as something to fear.

But when I read these posts and stories, something that I bond myself with, and they talk about things that happen to be what I think/say/do, I find it harder and harder to keep these things in. There are barricades that are built in my head like the Great Wall, but they seem to be crumbling down one day at a time...and I’m scared about what will happen next.

I don’t know who to talk to; don’t know if anyone will even care, or say that I’m just being dramatic, or ‘It’s just a face because you’re young!’

Drawing has helped me, but not enough. Screwing over my sleep scedual to fall asleep at midnight is fucking with me, and school has started become just another burden, another weight on my back, and stress ha become something more than just something every once in a while. It’s alway with me, to the point where I am starting to get nervous tics every time I talk.

I don’t know... just gotta pull through I guess.
