I decided to do something that would make 13 year old me happy and draw a my little pony au I loved thinking about when I was younger.
This is a no rainboom/element swap au! This will be the first of a few posts cause I want all the main six separate to explain how their lives are different with their different destinies.
First up is the one that hasn’t changed a bit since I first developed the au when I was 13 is Pink “Pinkie” Quartz Pie, the element of Kindness, and her lovely diamond dog wife Roxie!
When Pinkie was a filly, a cave in caused her to be separated from her rock farming family. Trying to find another exit, she found a Diamond Dog pup about her age also separated from her group. Pinkie made great friends with this Diamond Dog, and the pup- named Roxie- helped her find an exit.
Her family was at first shocked and angry to see Pinkie associating with a dangerous Diamond Dog. However, Pinkie managed to explain that the pup and her family were of no danger to the ponies. In fact, they could even help them run the rock farm even better with their ability to sniff out gems. A peace accord between the Diamond Dogs of the mine and the Pie family was struck, and the Diamond Dogs became co-owners of the quarry the Pies owned.
This is how Pinkie earned her cutie mark. It represents her talent for diplomacy and helping/creating friendships with ponies and other species with an emblem from the first species she helped- Diamond Dogs.
She married the Diamond Dog who helped her that day later in life, and she moved to Ponyville to help Roxie try to achieve her dream of being a professional baker. Plus, Ponyville is in a great spot for her to try to craft some great friendships between ponies and not ponies!
Roxie is very stoic and quiet but loves her smol pink pony wife very much. She speaks great english unlike her show counter parts, but speaks with a thick accent that somewhere between russian and french.
girls night
The two I want to talk about aren't "Abandoned" they're more just forgotten about for a long period of time.
The first one is Pinkie! I have a post about him if you scroll a little in my page. He was my very first stuffed animal (In the post is says he's around 11 years old but hes actually 17.) Pinkie was taken away from me and thrown into the garage with a ton of other stuffed animals / plushies. I didn't see him again until about 3-4 years ago when my dad was cleaning out the garage and found him. MY dad did come into my room to ask me if I wanted to keep him or throw him out with the other stuffed animals. Ever sense that night he's never had to worry about the snow, hail, rain, or heavy wind chilling him because he stays inside warm, being cuddled lovingly.
The second one was actually just a couple months ago! She's a squirrel named Juilt (Spelt like Guilt pronounced like Jilt.) She was found in the shed in a bike basket. I don't know who she originally belonged to in my family but she was washed, dried, and was given a necklace a couple weeks after her discovery. She sleeps on my bed with the other palm sized plushies next to her.
Anybody wanna share their stories about how they found an abandoned/lost plushie?
Oh! I have a Plushie I carry around with me some days! Name : Pinkie Species : Elephant Age : At least 11 years. The reason I carry them around more than any of my other stuffed animals Is because Pinkie was my first stuffed animal! And I will admit they're still in pretty good shape even after being with me for a long period of time and then getting taken away and locked in the garage for roughly 5-ish years. They have a hole on the bottom of their right foot and they're losing their pink color (Due to years of being loved and then covered in dust.) But that's okay! They're still very lovable! I feel like everyday I take Pinkie with me to school and walk around the Halls and attend classes n all, I feel like I'm sorta making up for the gap I couldn't snuggle with them. It feels nice to "reconnect" with something that may not be awake or alive.
it really makes my day whenever i see someone in public with a stuffed animal. the simple fact that someone else cares about a little plushie so much to bring them everywhere always warms my heart. does it have a name, a backstory? i get to see a peek inside this person's world... that's so wonderful!
Been wanting to post this since like last year, but didn't because I procrastinate a lot :)
